This doesn't stop him from having to sign the contract though. If Booth can't produce another offer, the Klitschko's won't have to pay. So why don't the Klitschko's call the bluff, sign for the fight, and then only pay on condition of a contract with another TV station being shown. Even if Klitschko's camp refuses to pay the difference after it's been signed, Haye will have to take then to court and the court will demand to be shown the offer, so Haye can't use this against Klitschko in the way you are suggesting.

I am very suspicious of the Klitschko's now, he's got a the deal they always wanted and yet for some reason the fight hasn't been signed. I do not buy this argument over TV rights anyway, why would you jeopardise a fight than will generate tens of millions in revenue for the sake of a few hundred thousand? It smells like bull****.

wow... so many guys just dont get the whole Booth ARD RTL thing

Booth and Saurland are saying ARD will pay more. You guys really think K2 should just trust Booth and just PAY the difference between RTL and ARD bacause Booth says it was "x" amount?

Its very very simple...... all Booth has to do is provide PROOF of the ARD offer (like Boente said he wanted on TV)and K2 will pay it and this fight will be on.

BUT... Booth and Saurland wont provide proof of the offer.... Hmmmm, I wonder why that is

you dont get it... if Boente just signs the contract... he has to pay Booth what Booth SAYS the difference is without proof. Why should Haye get extra cash for something that clearly didnt happen (ARD's offer)...

You give Wlad **** for not"just saying yes"..... what about the balls and bull**** from Booth to even ask for it:deal

I guess he has it.... I dont pay much attention to that stuff actually

my question is ..... at HW? and what is the minimum number of fights?... haye has had 4 HW fights (I think)... im sure there are many HW with 3 KO's in their first 4 fights

you would think so.... but thats NOT how Booth wants it worded.... he wants PAYMENT once signed regardless of proof or NO proof...... thats the issue

Sorry but its a bull**** move from Booth.... its as simple as provide the offer and this thing is done and signed

would Booth sign something that made him pay extra cash for a fight based on talk? NO WAY.. Booth would want proof..... so why cant Boente ask for the same? this is Booth trying to get K2 to pay for the issue Haye has with Sauland......

I think its clear that since Booth wont provide the proof...it doesnt exist.... if it doesnt exist.... then IMO and many others... its a chicken **** move to try and get extra cash for NOTHING..... typical Booth move once again

exactly. All Bonte would have to do if this were the case is refuse payment, wait for Haye to claim breach of contract and take it to court, then the court will require Haye to offer proof of the offer there I'd bet my life on it. No matter how Haye words it in the contact, he can't demand that someone pay him £300k that he isn't entitled too, it would be fraud for one thing, and it's completely unenforcable.

So Bonte can sign the contract. He either a) never gets a contract produced with a better offer on it, and doesn't have to pay **** or b) Haye/Booth produces a contract, Bonte pays the difference, ends up with the EXACT same amount of money as he would've otherwise got.

Think logically. This is total bull****.

Let me see if I have this right: Instead of Booth just showing PROOF (which if he has it, would be EXTREMELY EASY to do), you want Boente to sign away, and if it doesn't work out he can always sue, which would be tied up in the courts for quite a while.... ARE YOU SERIOUS? That's your solution?

How about Booth just showing proof and then everyone can get down to business?

no the bull**** is Booth asking for something he cant prove. If they can word it like you said great.... but that where things get sticky

Why should anyone sign a deal with this bull**** attached. Booth needs to show the proof or drop the issue and shut the **** up so the contracts can be signed... simple as that
