The last worthy challenge Pac had was against JMM, back in 2008. There's not been another opponent since then that has done anything to trouble him. They've all been suckers for the straight left hand, easy to hit, slower than him, come forward, no slickness, no head movement, etc. The only one who didn't take a a beating was Clottey, and he just stood there like an Everlast punching bag, the majority of the night.

It is evident, all these fighters have been carefully selected, because, of what they lack...not because of what they bring to the table style-wise, which would maximize the competitiveness of the fight. The only real advantage these opponents have is size, and none of them seem to know how to impose it, on a smaller, faster fighter. The selection of an aging Shane (coming off two terrible performances) over opponents having an advantage (or are comparable) in speed and/or technique to Manny, and coming off dominating performances, falls right in line with the other selections. It's not surprising...yet, still disappointing.

just a simple reason...the fight is easy to negotiate with not much ado...mosley wants to fight pacquiao period..no more this and that and i admire shane for
being the fighter now that the odds are against him..WHO ARE YOU PICKING ?
during his fight with the classy PBf...because people have doubts and perceive
both to be on almost equal footing..now i know you believe that title do not
fit here..RIGHT!! if the pacman lose here then you will be laughing all the way
but if he wins i know whats the next line...he must fight berto...fight martinez
    fight bradley...fight marquez....fight this fight that....

oh yeah pac is totally a cherry picker - or freddy and co are for him maybe. every opponent he has had since JMM2 has been carefully selected - they must walk fwd and have little or no lateral movement. marquez gave pac all sorts of trouble by changing angles and messing with his timing by taking small steps back as pac made his patented lightening in-out attacks.

But its a two prong fork - now that pac's up in weight surely there is a greater variety of opponents style wise for him to fight but obviously not profile or more to the point PPV wise. fighters like bradley and williams fall into both catergories alarm bell wise for freddy anc co - they're dangerous match ups style wise and they have little profile. so what can he do?

all of that said Pac is no different to any fighter that reaches big pay day level (except maybe cotto whom i wasnt really a fan until i looked at his list of opponents - the man fights anyone). each fight earns them more than the next so any loss costs literally millions of dollars.

the only interesting thing about the mosley fight is what his strategy is going to be. he's not disimilar to pac in the opponents he performs best against - latinos that walk fwd and want to trade - we've seen several times how terrible he looks against slick fighters. and i dont think i'm alone in the theory that against the same type pac would struggle in the same way - we dont know because pac has never really fought a slick (for want of better term) fighter. the question is does mosley have it in him to box pac from the outside or is he only capable of being the boxer puncher he's always been?

Leave it to someone who thinks that the time frame between 2001-2008 is an equivalent to "over 10 years."

You're just the Pac hater version of a ******* so don't think you're any better than the *******s you hate. ****ing piece of ****.

refering to clottey, marg, & SSM
he was always a cherr.ypicker, but his star rose he became one.
He went from a warrior who fought all challengers to a cherrypicker.
    kinda sad.

the real question is, who else is there?

jmm at 140/147, berto and mosley are all going to be dominated

    jmm brutal tko/knockdowns
    same with berto
    mosley might actually survive 12

right now aside from floyd and a guy couple of divisions up, any possible opponent pac would pick can be criticized by the haters as a cherry-pick. mosley, jmm and berto are all deemed a mismatch in pac's current form.

True...but, of the three, Mosely is percieved to be the biggest mismatch in his current form....
