Now we all know that Bute is only looking for easy-to-hit face-first fighters, but if he had any stones he should make an offer for Chad Dawson. Consider this: 1: Dawson will be available as Pascal will most likely rematch ole man Hopkins. 2: Dawson has said that he would be willing to go down to 168.
We have a very distinct situation at both 168 and 175. Id like to see them stay separate for the time being. Bute should fight the winner of the super 6.
Not likely to happen in 2011. The supersix winner must fight Mikkel Kessler first. Dawson looks to me to be the most interesting fight available.
Apparently Dawson, Cloud, Pascal, Hopkins, Kessler, Froch, Dirrell, Ward, Abraham & Johnson will be paid big bucks to make sure they all shut up about Bute not wanting to fight them... It's the biggest pay off in the history of the sport. Bute is choker, a loser, a ducker and a fraudster of the highest order. He's also soon to be on the FBI watch list as a possible terrorist... To be continued...
I just find it so annoying that the guy, who no doubt is talented, keeps on wasting his prime by fighting those journeymen and clubfighters. A step-up is long overdue and Dawson seems like a perfect match.
Don't waste your hopes. Bute has recently decided to go the Hopkins route, and will only fight a real challenge once he reaches 36 years of age. Why would he risk fighting good boxers ? I mean it's so obvious that he has a glass chin if the brightest lightbulb on ESB, "Mr. Rico Spadafora", now starts claiming it...
Apparently Chad's team told Interbox he is unavailable at 168 http://www.scribd.com/doc/45704342/La-telecopie-envoyee-a-Jean-Bedard
No. Interbox just says he's 'unavailable'. We don't know why the document says so. It does not say that the info came from Dawson or Shaw.
Forgive me. I'm a comparatively noob on here and has to find out how this forum works. I wanted to delete my post but couldn't.
Maybe they say it because they've asked a question ... like the one about Taylor, and got an answer to their question..like the answer about Taylor ( in the same official paper) atsch
