It's one of the greatest boxers who ever lived! His first name is James, but he's not known by it. Need more clues? :)

Yeh I read somewhere else that he had the flu for the fortnight prior to the bout, but fair play to Lindsay, he didn't get up and use it as an excuse, he just said Simpson was to good on the night.

To be frank, Lindsay has been too inactive for mine. No.6 with the IBF, he should have been busier over the last 18months where I think off memory, up until a shitty 6rd'er about 8 weeks back, he hadn't had a fight in well over 12months, far too light a preparation for facing a consistently tough customer in Simpson and far too light for a bloke Frank Maloney was talking about as a future world-title challenger.

You don't get ready to face world class customers sitting at home in Belfast doing 3/8th's of nothing and / or with a shitty 6rd'er as noted. Top 15 rated fighters shouldn't be in 6rd'ers regardless.

This reminds me of an article last year, can't remember who by, saying something like "weeks after Anthony Mundine brings boxing to its knees, Danny Green moves in for the kill..."

    Anyone remember that?:rofl:rofl:rofl

I don't know Conny he fought a locally based "Scot" Jamie Arthur as well this year and that was a solid 12 rounder if i remember correctly back last April (ish) i just think he had a bad night at the office my mate down the pud Old Frank said Simpson just wanted it more and didn't give Marty a round until the 9th .....but then again Old Frank likes his brew watching the fights .
Ps Ref Fighting 6 rounders ? is thatwhy you and Billy parted company ? :think
