Bute vs Brian McGee??

He is an indirect target of Bute's haters... and the simple minds of those who don't know or "don't what to know" that most of the guys at 168 are in the S6 ,injured ,or they simply don't want to fight him. His fans want him to fight better opposition and his haters what that to because they want to see him loose... They don't see Magee as a guy who can beat Bute so they are really frustrated and angry expresing themselfs very loud.

 

He does? Well he's a good fighter and he'll surely make Bute work. He cant win though.

 

I know 100% that he had the offer from Stieglitz. He had the 2 offers on the table, Bute in canada or Stieglitz in germany. He had the choice and took the harder of the 2 fights. That,to me, shows the guys integrity.

Magee is just that kind of guy, which is why it saddens me to see this stuff about him being a "bum" from people who cant even spell his ****ing name right

 

I agree he's a huge underdog, but to say he CANT win is just wrong, I don't fancy his chances, but he has a great trainer now and is more focused than he's ever been, don't watch the froch fight from 5 years ago to see his form, he's much better now.

 

And the thing is he gave Froch one of his tougher fights back then

 

This is boxing so anything is possible of course. But a gigantic upset it would be if Magee wins in Montreal.

I was impressed with Magee's win over Larsen in Larsens backyard. Magee was exiting and took the play away from the dane who, even though he was injured, was favoured to win quite handily.

 

well I made a bit of money on the Larsen fight because, quite frankly, it was obvious Larsen was bored and just taking the fight for a payday, but Magee is one of those fighters who has the stellar amateur career, but only fringe world class level pro career. He is not a shrinking violet though, he wants this fight.

Magee will not be a Gary ;Lockett. Magee will put his life and soul into this fight. He was offered safer fights, but when he was asked if he wanted to face Bute as a massive underdog on international television. Risking a damaging loss but also chancing the massive upset...Magee answered "Thats exactly what I want".
