My avatar contains both Mayweather and Pacquiao, if you look a little closer.
    Also, 'Hater'...what are you 12?

Read through the thread again, I havn't taken part in this discussion...was just reading through, and seen you pointlessly winding up someone who knows their boxing.

Smokin' is my all time favorite by far, mate!

He's the epitomy of a warrior, a courageous, rugged little pitbull. I don't care what anyone says, Joe Frazier should receive a statue in Philly.

I don't begrudge the Balboa statue being there, but for **** sake, how can they have one of a fictional character and not Philly's own world heavyweight champion, conqueror of the great Ali and one of boxing's biggest warriors alongside it. :verysad

Only watched Frazier vs Jimmy Ellis again the other day. He was excellent in that fight.

Its pretty close. Take away Duran's win over SRL and Duran's resume really isnt that impressive. He lost to every great fighter he's fought, Benitez, hagler, hearns, SRL...although id say Pac would probably lose to all of them too.

Pac beating Cotto was more impressive than Duran beating Barkley. Pac beat Cotto at his 10th weight class, 9th weight class from when he first won his first lineal championship. Barkley was Duran's 5th weight class form his first championship? On top of that, Pac was much more dominant.

Duran is right up there as 1 of my favourite fighters ever but I do find he gets overrated quite a bit. I have SRL clearly ahead of him.

It seems to me welterweight pacquiao gets underrated here, he has carried speed and power into 147 atr the lower weights the guys were as fast as him therefore he could get close fights there. at 147 he is improved, faster then anyone in the division, only floyd can keep up. therefore if anyone doesnt have speed or something special I think pac can make it close at werlter. I think pacquiao beating duran and a lot of hofs at 147 is certainly possible only hearns who is like the weirdest and greatest welter everbwould knock him out, ray leonard was the complete package so he wins as well, a lot of guys would have had good shots at pacquiao but to count him out beforehand is underestimating him.

Hell, I'll mention an ESPN-guy just for your ***** ass, Chris Broussard.
You only need to spend five minutes on ESB to find out some Poochtard claiming him to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Hell, some people put him up there just due to the fact that he's captured titles in 8 different weight classes, if only some of them weren't fabricated for the media pooch.

Hagler? Arguably the Greatest Middleweight of All-Time. Pacquiao is great and all, but he does not beat Hagler.

With all due respect, Hagler would of tore Pacquiaos face off. BenjaminLinus said Margarito would be too big for Pacquiao but in another thread picked Pacquiao over Hearns!!!

SRL, Duran, Hagler and Hearns all would mincemeat Pacquiao.

He complained Margo was too big and hurt him the few times he land and you think he could beat Hagler?

Hagler was 10* more skilled than Margo, was faster, even better chin. He would literally run over Pac IMO.

I could see him beating Benitez but funnily enough, stylistically I think Duran would be the easiest of the 4. Duran also doesnt hold a notable size advantage over Pac. SRL/Hagler/Hearns would be out of the question.

Stopped here. Why do people continually say this? 'Take away this win from fighter X's resumé and it's not as good' Of course it wouldn't be as good. You can't just take away wins out of a fighters resumé to suit your arguement. It's there, deal with it. You are rating him with the Leonard win on his resumé, not without it, so don't talk about how he'd compare had he not beaten Leonard. It would be like me saying takeaway Pacquiao's best win (Barrera I arguably) and look at his resumé.

Besides, he has a very good resumé elsewhere; Marcel, Buchanan, De Jesus, Mamby, Hector Thompson, Edwin Viruet, Palomino, Barkley, Cuevas, Moore, Vilomar Fernandez, Emiliano Villa, Ishimatsu, Lampkin, Kobayashi.
