Who would you match James Degale with next?

The Groves fight makes perfect sense.

 

Right now I wanna see DeGale v Groves and little else. James DeGale is the British champion / George Groves is the mandatory challenger. They're both great prospects and should be fighting next, no other questions. A loss wouldn't hurt either of them as much as their egos might think, yet the winner would get massive praise. The reward outweights the risk by far in my opinion.

frank isnt holding back with degale so if the groves fight isnt next id be inclined to put almost all the blame on booths door , well never know all the details ofcourse but i just think frank and james fancy the job were as booth knows groves isnt ready

If I was DeGale I'd want Groves immediately...... if I were Groves I'd rather leave it a while until I've ironed out some flaws that have been exposed in my last two fights, even though plenty of bottle was shown in getting rid of Anderson.

I think DeGale genuinely wants Groves next, he gets paid like a mofo anyway so it won't matter who is in the other corner, and he probably feels Groves is an accident waiting to happen and wants to get there first. There'll be paydays against other fighters anyway, no need to leave Groves until then. By the time DeGale reaches world level the Super Six will be finished, some of the business with the prospects at middle will be settled and a few will consider moving up.

I'm concerned that Groves is trying too much to be like Haye, all this chelping and giving people nicknames like Dodger Dilks and other bollocks, should concentrate on trying to improve as DeGale has done...... that said I'm a fan of his and can definitely see him going far.

Really there's not a lot out there for either, I'd like to see DeGale get some experience Stateside as Groves has..... Magee has a world title fight..... Smith will need a confidence booster (or several), they've stopped Anderson and Dilks recently too between them.

Will be interesting to see how 2011 pans out for each of them.

I reckon it should be Andrade or sartison then Stieglitz then on to the elite. And groves in between if he feels like it

 

If not Groves then Anderson.

 

Groves. Chunky wants to win the belt outright he said but also i like to see him get a few more bouts under belt before heading up to world level. If not Groves then get a world ranked top 20 guy. Someone who will present him with a different style and someone who maybe able to take rounds of James but i think James will fight a domestic fighter next.

So Groves or Anderson...

 

He should rematch Smith just to show Smith how talented he is....or put Groves in his place.

The only two domestic fights worth having are groves or smith. Groves obviously to settle the score, and smith to show it wasn't a one off (obviously avid wants to see his boy get another crack ). But outside those two there is nothing meaningful for him. Like I've said, sartison would be great. If I'm being honest, I think you could put him in with Abraham right now and he'd do a better job on him than he done in smith
