yea that was shocking but fedor has look like he has loss some explosiveness in his last couple of fights. I mean look at what rogers did to him before losing to werdum. Bj on the other hand was being talk about as the greatest lightweight ever then boooom he loss to edgar.
What did Roger do ? 1 Jab that reopened an already existing cut on is nose and 25 second on top not even landing 3 or 4 time...other than that Fedor domination !
Nothing can top Werdum vs Fedor id always said when Fedor lost no matter who to it would be MMA's biggest upset as noboddy not BJ heading into any of his losses not GSP when he fought Serra the 1st time, not Hughes when he got destroyed by BJ 6-7 years ago noboddy has ever had the aura that Fedor had. It got to the point where everyone thought he was literally unbeatable.
He fought better than people expected him to do. Everybody expected fedor to finished him in the first round. Not only did he survived the first round but he also busted up fedor's face and yea those seconds he was on top of fedor is pretty amazing considering how fedor stopped both sylvia and arlovski in the first round. Rogers not only survive but he made fedor look human for a bit.
Although it wasn't entirely unexpected I have to say Fedor losing to Werdum was the upset of the year because no one really expected Fedor to lose. Fedor never loses.
You can have your opinion I guess...Fedor as been on is back before nothing new...and he as been cut before too nothing new. The only difference I think that it was Fedor was less careless VS Roger... !
yea i know but there's been couple of more upset since the fedor fight. After lesnar beat carwin many thought that he would destroy velazquez(including me) but cain proved many people wrong.
