Yep, it's another 'Mag 7' type bill according to BN. Details to be revealed in the New Year apparently, although we know offers have been made to Khan and Groves to face Brook and DeGale respectably (doubt either will happen).
:happy I wonder how much Warren offered Khan, surely he be looking at more than he'd earn against somebody like Judah or Ortiz at the O2 or in Vegas. Would like to see something like[within the realms of possibility, obviously things could be a lot better on the whole ] Brook vs Vitaliy Demyanenko (interim WBO title) Nathan Cleverly vs Alejandro Lakatos (Interim WBO title) DeGale vs Stevie McGuire (British title) Chisora vs Harrison (British & Commonwealth titles) Macklin vs Sergey Khomitski (EBU title) Frankie Gavin vs Steve Willams (English title?) Bellew vs McIntosh (Commonwealth title) + Selkirk, Saunders, Heffron, Liam Smith etc.
McGuire has moved up to Light Heavy. Won't be him more likely Quigley. I reckon we get... Frankie Gavin vs Steve Williams (Vacant Commonwealth title & British Light Welterweight eliminator) Kell Brook vs Vitaliy Demyanenko (interim WBO Welterweight title) Matthew Macklin vs Avtandil Khurtsidze (European title & WBA Middleweight eliminator) Derek Chisora vs Tyson Fury (British & Commonwealth Heavyweight title) James DeGale vs George Groves (British & Commonwealth Super Middleweight titles) Nathan Cleverly vs Alejandro Lakatos (Interim WBO Light Heavyweight title) then to the US for Carl Froch vs Glen Johnson, maybe Andre Ward vs Arthur Abraham on the same card.
Forgot about Quigley, I'd probably rather see that actually. Was just racking my brain for good domestic guy for him to defend again. Isn't Fury fighting on the May 9th Hennessey bill? I can't see him fighting see regularly and stepping in with Chisora. Harrison and Chisora have been having a war of words on Twitter, maybe a fight will come to fruition out of that. Can't see Groves taking on DeGale either. The only way I see that happening is if Hayemaker decide to throw all their chips in on Groves and go for broke after the Anderson fight and the two knockdowns, can't see them making such a rash decision. Fight doesn't make sense to me at the moment and I think Hayemaker realise that too.
Afrobum time for Liam Walsh me thinks. TBA at this stage ain't a good sign. Good fight for Vassell. Fair play to Mathysse - fighting twice in a month Odds on Ajose missing his plane and not making it to the fight?
