Indeed. You'd think this would be the place to go to in order to solve some of the mysteries surrounding him, but they are way into Muay Thai rather than pugilism, which is understandable it being their national sport.

Ask about Saensak Muangsurin, I think he was massive over there.

Also dont they worship a statue of Kingpetch over there?

 

Quite a way away is the statue. I might try and find it before I go, would make a good avatar, Kingpetch was so limited, but awkward and effective as far as I can see. Nice uppercut.

 

Tall with sound basics made him awkward, and he knew how to use that height whether it be for controlling distance or getting in position to throw an uppercut. I though he gave Perez a real whipping but was lucky in alot of his other fights, decision wise.

 

Was flicking through the BoxingNews annual earlier and they had Lopez-Mtagwa as the International Fight of the Year :huh

 

It was a good fight. Whether that was just due to Mtagwa coming storming through at the end of the fight I don't know...

Hang on, wasn't Mtagwa-Lopez last year? It was a top fight, one that made you glad you stayed up to watch it
