lewis recently said in an interview he would have beat tyson anytime in his career. i just watched the fight again an think their no way a young tyson wouldn't of knocked lewis out. from the second round tyson wanted to quit, the only flaw in the blueprint of tyson was his heart. i know he was old but lack of heart is why he lost to buster douglas. you can make a fighting machine but you cant give it a heart, no doubt his chin was good but his mind didn't want it. when he was young their was heart an love for the fight game, no doubt in my mind he would have knocked out lewis. im not saying it would of been berbick all over again but around round 5 id of said tyson by straight ko. to me lewis win over tyson is no better than danny williams win over tyson.

Lewis destroyed him as teenagers and as adults. And we would have anytime in between.

Tyson would never, ever, ever beaten any version of Lewis or Holyfield. They were on a different level.

Tyson was incredibly entertaining...but too many who don't understand the fight game can't evaluate him properly.

Prime Lewis would have beaten any version of Tyson hands down. Tyson would have zero chance. If Lewis is good at one thing then its hug'n clinch. And Tyson has zero to offer once tied up. He never knew how to handle it, he'd let go of his entire gameplan and then simply resort to throwing looping hayemakers.

Lewis would grab him in close quarters and pick him apart from the outside. 19 year old Tyson, 26 year old Tyson and 35 year old Tyson. Doesn't matter, rinse and repeat.

    Maybe Lewis would win.

On the other hand, maybe Tyson would win.

It comes down to rather or not Tyson can get inside. If he dose he will win once that happens. Like when Tyson beat Holmes. I think Lewis was in his prime late in his career around the time they fought for real. I think Tyson would have gotten inside against 90's Lewis but not 00's Lewis.
Tyson vs. 90's Lewis. Tyson KO 6. Give or take a round.
Tyson vs. 00's Lewis. Lewis 9 rounds Tyson 3 rounds.

Boxing fans can't predict real fights, yet are so certain with fantasy fights

As Mike would say, unless it actually happens, you never ever know.

People seem to be underestimating Tyson here, which you just DO NOT do.

This guy in his prime had the heart and power of not one but FOUR hungry lions.

The idea that this will be an easy fight is just plain ******ed.

People never really say this, But i honestly don't think Lewis was in his prime when he fought Tyson. I think he was past his prime just that Tyson was further past his.

Prime for Prime as someone else said if Tyson can get inside then Tyson wins. Depends if Lewis can hold off the tide and i think he has a good chance of doing it. I think if Mike didn't stop it early then Lennox would of wore him down and won.

Tyson would get inside, early. And Lewis is chinny. It could end early. I just can't imagine Lewis keeping Tyson at bay long enough to beat him. Tyson was so quick and elusive, and Lewis can't keep taking his shots.
