Adamek in talks with Peter camp

    Didn't they come out after Wlad II and say that he's fighting on and he'll fight anybody not named Klitschko? Why not take the Adamek fight then. I'd take Adamek via decision with a few hairy moments, but it's probably one of the more winnable top fights out there for Peter. Doesn't make sense to turn it down.

    I agree that Peter will be a harder fight then Arreola was, but only for the first 5 or 6 rounds. After that he will easy up and if he doesnt get the job done by then Adamek will just box his ears off. Arreola however kept up the pressure throughout the whole fight, which is something I don't think Peter will or could do at this point, especially after chasing Adamek around all night.

    Peter will have his moments but he's going to get showered with punches, possibly leading to getting KTFO.

    Arreola was much hyped by HBO who has looked for the next Tyson for ages : every guy who can punch quickly becomes the next big thing. Adamek indirectly obtained the result of his hype.
    After that ? Grant... Maddalone...in the end people will realize there is a problem. Adamek's management just wants to make $$$ with him taking minimal risk.
    I hope Adamek will understand it's not his interest. He is one of the only guys who has a small chance to rock the HW div and he has to fight the other possible challengers to prepare for his title shot. Peter could be a good start but there are other options.

    Mormeck confirmed again he wants to fight him. In the US. 50/50.
    After the T.Ibragimov fight he is more credible : people should watch this fight to make their opinion about the serious of Mormeck's campaign at HW. Mormeck had only trained on his stamina, not many rounds of gloves but Roach is now interested in working with him. Not as strong as Peter but more skilled and still the best win on Haye's record imo.

    Adamek should outpoint Peter, but it is always a risky fight. I do not understand why he is entering this tournament to fight Peter and than Chambers instead of trying to get a direct shot at Klitschko (voluntary defence). Winning with Peter AND Chambers is far from guaranteed.

    Fitir, you may be right about part of Arreola's hype being transferred to Adamek, the bottomline is that he already did enough to get a titleshot. By that I do not mean he fought great opposition, but compared to Rahman, Sosnowski, Briggs... or even Peter (already got 3 shots against Klitschkos)... you see my point.

    Adamek should comfortably out box Peter in my opinion. He don't need to take the risk though...

    I don't think Adamek can KO Peter. Only Wlad manage to do this very cleanly. Against Vitali, he could've gone the full 12 as Vitali showed no urgency to KO him, just 1-2 him the whole night (actually 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2 him :D).

    Adamek knows he can have a shot at either one of the Klitschkos now for 1-2 million. But he also knows if he becomes mandatory, especially in 2 organizations, he will be in a much better bargaining position when it comes to sit at the negotiating table. It's all business.

    Is Peters the best opponent for Adamek out there? How about Povetkin or Chagaev?

    I wouldn't want to see him fight a klitschko yet... I'm enjoying what he's doing now.
    He don't talk **** and say he's the best.. but he's on his way.

    after fighting someone like peter..I think he will be able to gauge himself in what he can and cannot do ..and what he should do in style matchups and against people that impose their size advantage on him.

    I agree with the post that said Adamek will win via decision, but not without a few close to being KOed scenarios where Adamek's toughness and drive to survive is all that pulls him through.

    Adamek on points, but it'll have some edge of your seat moments, yes.

    I hope they can get this fight made. Good test for Adamek, but it wo't be a harder test than the Arreola fight was, no.


    Peter is no better than Arreola, and is about three inches shorter, even. So Adamek won't have the reach disadvatage he suffered against Arreola, either.
