Haye is doing all he can to make this fight happen now. I'm glad they are making negotiations public, so we can see who really wants the fight and who really doesn't.

Chef - I understood the stumbling block seemed to be because Booth wanted Wlad to pay the difference regarding the german tv but had only provided e-mails not an actual contract offer.

Now it seems Haye is happy with a straight 50-50, is this true or are there further stumbling blocks?

I dont expect Wlad to sign for it within a day like some but as a boxing fan I am keen for it to go ahead.

its still an issue that Booth is insisting on the difference from what Saurland THINKS he can get and what RTL pays...

funny how everyone jumps to Haye saying "the fight can be on RTL"....:lol:NO ****... it was always going to be on RTL...

issue is Booth wants extra cash because saurland says ARD will pay more... all K2 wants is to see ARD's offer in writing and this is a done deal...... but they wont/cant provide it.......Gee, I wonder why.

I havent talked to wlad since Monday night... so maybe it has changed since then. Im not sure what the latest is....

But I do know RTL was ALWAYS going to be the channel to show the fight in Germany.... Booth and Hayes claim to allow the fight to be on RTL is NOTHING NEW or some huge issue that they gave in on

Ill find out asap whats up

Cheers Chef, I'm sure if the issue is Booth still wanting extra cash then it will come out.

Well, I think they will be looking for a stadium venue in England for this.

This summer we have no Ashes, no World cup and no Olympics. There is the Rugby in New Zealand, the Princes wedding but plenty dates left in the calendar.

When and where do we see this happening?

If the monetary difference between the ARD and RTL offers is the stumbling block right now - Boente is solely to blame. He said live on TV he would pay the difference but is now refusing.
