I mean cmon were all still gonna watch it, the fight will be sold out, Mosley is a formidable opponent.

Manny wares his credibility around his waist.

 

Pac is putting Void to shame. Void is void.

 

Damn shame he is fighting Mosley. But at least he is fighting in the ring and not in court. Cleaning up the welterweight division is not too bad.

4. Mosley (still to fight)
5. If he wins on May 7, maybe Floyd (finally) or Berto

I can live with that. However, I still would have prefered a JMM fight.

 

rewind 24 months. It's december 2008. Pacquiao has just moved up from 130 to 135 to 147 in a span of 9 months and destroyed Oscar de la Hoya to upset the critics.

WW is one of the strongest divisions in the world. The top 5 ranking is.

Fast forward 24 months. After moving down to 140 to win the Ring Magazine title, Pac moves back up to WW and has fought Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito, and is scheduled to fight Shane Mosley.

 

Suddenly, Pac is a fighter who took on the best. I was pretty sure this guy is singing a different tune some days ago .

I agree with what you're saying with the possible damage that could be caused to Shane Mosley in this fight and I think the fight is a joke.

But other than Clottey, Margarito, ODLH, Hatton and Cotto ... who the **** did you want him to fight at Welterweight?

He has cleared out that division and done it in style. Maybe if FMJ had fought that who's who, we wouldn't be deriding the guy for cherry picking at this stage of his career.

FACT, right now Pacquiao would kill a potentially shot and overweigth JMM, Berto is about 3 levels below Pac and as far as I can see, no one at 140 can stand with Pacquiao.

PW and Maravilla are both pushing the envelope in how far Pacquiao can go up in weight.

 

bigbone is a good poster. but he is somewhat bias when it comes to pac and some american fighters. ask him about joe calzaghe or the klits and he would not dare critic them.

 

Two years ago, WW was one of the strongest division.

Present, WW is not so competitive anymore. I wonder what happened to those WW fighters...:think
