He certainly wasnt the same fighter post Margarito

He will get better, but a large part of that is

    1. Not having to cut to 147 (let alone 145)
    2. Emanuel Steward

I don't believe 147 for was ever a problem for Cotto, I think he only moved to 154 because he'd taken two bad losses at 147, but I agree he will improve with Steward.

The problem is a lot of fighters and promoters use the excuse of my fighter beat this fighter who was rank this and that. And we beat the number one guy so why should we fight you guys. It happens a lot and it's all bs. Styles make fights and every fighter could shine at any night.

Try to prove to you that you're an illiterate who is making a complete dick of himself???

No sweat: his name is JOSHUA CLOTTEY, not Joshua CORLEY.

What a fanny. "Pwned", as they say here on the General. :smoke

Manny has only beaten Cotto at welterweight. Lets be honest, if he had not fought Cotto all would say he ducked him. Lose lose situation. There was no point in fighting Clottey since he lost to Cotto in a close fight. The Margarito fight was complete bull****. Now Mosley would be a little bit better if he had not had that bull**** fight with the skinny middleweight guy. Mosley got schooled by Floyd. After this fight there would be only two fights for Manny. Marquez and Floyd. Marquez probably wont be able to go h2h with Manny at welterweight and that leaves Floyd.

Marquez is past his best and hasn't done anything above 135.

    Martinez, Berto or Mayweather

The welterwieght division isn't weak. Floyd and Manny are just a class above them. I'm not complaining about what happened in the division though. Everyone fought everyone. The dust settled. That how the reign of a division goes. The ebb and tide of loaded divisions. And all we have left now is Floyd vs Manny.

Paul Williams moved up in weight to soon
Cotto was way over hyped for his accomplishments
    Mosley was past his prime
Margo was probably cheating for yrs allowing him to even be in that convo
    Clottey/Quintana/Cintron were B -level
Hatton couldn't handle fighting bigger guys

It didn't help when Floyd wouldn't fight Marg, Mosley, Williams or Cotto.
