Hamed wasn't a natural FW, he probably belonged at Bantamweight. He fight at 126 because that's where the money was. So I could see why he would have been uncomfortable going up even further. He was already well out of his comfort zone.

Thats right, first time was the thread question answer, the second was in answer as to why, when someone commented on the decision. If you have a problem with it, just ignore it

Yeah I heard him call out Hamed at one point, didn't know he actually offered him a catchweight fight. Call it 128lbs then, featherweight would have really been a stretch though and I seriously doubt he could have made it at that point.

Worst reply ever, Naz wasn't in his prime when he was being trained by Manny and to compare him to Kermit Cintron aswell as a bum is ignorant. :patsch:patsch:patsch

Yep...shows you how much power he had in his hands to still be knocking guys out, a division or 2 above were he should have been.

Oh I love the "he wasn't in his prime" argument, when really it just happens to coinside with the time when he stopped fighting purely bums. Naz knocked out some bums, then went life and death with Kevin Kelley, then knocked out some B-Level fighters then was schooled by Barrera. He added some fire works and all of the sudden everyone thinks he's Ali. I enjoy how boxing fans can be swayed by arrogance and ring entrances.

Morales was at his aboslute best at 126 IMO. His greatest performance against Paulie Ayala was at 126. Morales performing like he did on that fight completly schools Hamed. As for the barrera comment, Barrera was also rocked by Morales at times, and Naz manage to catch him with some hard shots and still couldnt knock him out. Morales has a stronger chin than Barrera. And on top of that, a faded version of Morales was able to handle a beast like Pacquiao...Morales at his best is just too good for The Prince.

If Barrera who was not a natural FW, gave him a boxing lesson, I think everyone on that list should b a favorite to whoop Naz a$$.

    One point loss?

Naz won 3 rounds at best, Barrera schooled him for 9 rounds. :deal

Even with the point deduction for slamming his head on the ring post, he still won that round BIG.

Whats with all this JMM schools Naz crap?
Is this the same JMM who was Nazs mandatory and Jmm ducked Naz as did Junior Jones?

Mayweather Vs Naz would ahve been a good fight
    Naz Vs Morales/Pacman 50/50 fight

the rest he KTFO and that includes JMM.

This is the same JMM that was on his ass 3 times in the Pacman fight.....Naz put people to sleep.
