You know what, for all the stick haye gets, he is without doubt one of the most talked about boxers in the world, and all this whilst being self promoted. It is amazing.

If you ask every boxing fan which two fights they would like to see the majority would answer pac-floyd and haye-wlad.

Love haye or hate him he is getting people to talk about boxing, he's only had 26 fights and he promotes himself. He is finally stepping up to the heavyweight plate and backing his words up.

Gotta admire what he's done for the sport. Genuinely not sarcasm there either. He has brought publicity to boxing and that is something all us fans need to appreciate, more publicity means more fans which means better budgets which means bigger fights. I'm not saying haye is the saviour of boxing, but i'm saying his trash talking has brought significant benefits to the sport. Casual fans know about boxing because of his fight with audley. And thats vs a guy win achieved fuk all as a pro bar prizefighter and the euro belt.

If you cant recognise his contribution to the sport then you are blinded by hate imo.

We all got on his back when he avoided the brothers the last two years, but now he has made himself one of the biggest names in boxing and he is ready to do it in the ring.

Lets give him his credit now. It is finally due.

Wlad wants Haye and The Champ offers 50:50 with no options long time ago.

I think Haye will KO Wlad. He'll be too fast and too aggresive and won't let Wlad sit back in his comfort zone like he's been used to

trust me, he does not need to kill him, just knock him out. it is possible, otherwise why does everyone want the fight so bad?

Haye will be one of Wlad's biggest names to date.

Haye's too small. Wlad slowly breaks him down, Hayes stamina is gone by the 6th, Wlad eventually - petrified - risks going for the KO in the 10th

Haye beats Wlad, Vitali beats Haye. Why does Haye want Wlad so bad? Why haven't we heard anything from Haye / Booth about Vitali's 50/50 offer straight after the Harrison 'fight'?

Should be two cracking fights though, looking forward to some proper Heavyweight tear-ups for the first time in years!!!

Contracts were signed for June 2009. They mean nothing.

I'll believe it when I hear the first bell.

I seriously doubt Haye will be showing any aggressiveness against Wlad or Vitali...I think you're mixing up his attack with that of someone like Mike Tyson who did actually attack his opponents with ferocious intent.

Of course, basing my opinion on the fact that Haye didn't attack Valuev or Audley might not be valid either...Maybe come fight night he'll figure an all out attack is the way to go and will actually go that route.

What do you mean, the Barrett's of the world? Aside from Harrison, Barrett is the exception to his championship-level opposition. Ruiz was better, Valuev was better, Mormeck was better and Enzo was better. They are all good wins. Barrett is almost the sole exception and even then it's justified as it was Haye's first fight as a proper heavyweight. If you compare his first fight at heavyweight to Adamek's, it's a better win when you consider that Golota was absolutely shot to pieces. Even the greatest cruiser of all-time, Holyfield, fought a guy with less chance than Barrett when he stepped up to heavyweight. WHen Mormeck stepped up, he fought a lesser fighter in Maddalone and so on.

Obviously Barrett is limited but it's rare to find a fighter who moves up and fights top class opposition in his first fight at a new weight. It's certainly not the standard Haye has set for himself since moving up either.

...I don't know why I put effort into this reply. You're an idiotic hater.
