Indeed, he was in his physical prime!! But now he is in his mental prime!! So IMO he is still in his prime because he makes fighting these youngsters like literaly taking candy from a baby :D

'97--'03. Glen Johnson through to Joppy. Before he wasnt quite the polished, virtually technically flawless fighter he'd become, and after he was generally over cautious and didnt have much of a workrate. He had decent wins before, some great wins after, but in that span he had consistant, one-sided performances against solid opposition.

dude fought literally nobodies in his prime and never moved up because he never wanted to challenge himself. He declined to move from a 50/50 split to fight RJJ when he had already lost to him and RJJ was p4p #1. He also blatantly ducked Dawson recently. Lost twice to JT and lost to Calzaghe. Great fighter, but not legendary like he claims to be.

Around 35/36 years of age when he fought Trinidad. That's when he became technically complete.

What has he done to be a legend? Longevity is all. He's already lost I belive 3 out of his last 6 fights. His biggest wins come from blown up welterweights and middleweights. Dude is a complete fraud to the sport. I see people complaining about the May/Pac fight not happening but this clown refused to fight RJJ because of a money split he never deserved.

The Johnson fight was his first fight in his prime. The Joppy fight the last.
