There's no Point in a Mayweather-Pacqiao Fight, Floyd Will be old and Shot!

DLH was 34 when he fought Mayweather in 2007. He was coming off a KO win, he was at his natural weight of 154, and he looked to be strong and in great shape during the fight, yet he was ultimately beaten by a smaller but more skilled fighter.

Naturally, Floyd haters instead of giving Floyd credit, want to say "Oscar was old, Oscar was shot, he was way past it" This is the same dumb excuse I keep hearing over and over.

By that logic, Floyd will be 34 in Feb. therefore, he must be old too, and shot, and way past it, and therefore if he beats Pacquiao, Pacquiao sucks, if Floyd loses, oh well he's old right? Just like DLH.

No one will say Floyd is shot. The only thing is that Pacquiao is a smaller man and Floyd might not get the credit if he beats him. It should be acompetitive fight cos Mayweather adapts really well. Offense vs defense

Been saying it for a while. The more Floyd waits, the worse his odds get!

you cannot compare oscar and floyd directly with their age. one constantly challenged himself in much tougher opposition that their age is not a good indicator. even pacquiao at age 32 would be more closer to being past his prime than floyd is because of the actual ring age and styles of fight.

Correct Pacman is older than Floyd if you look at ring age and the punishment his body received from all those fight.

these joyboys are delusional. being 34 is not what will make floyd shot. having the safety first style and taking breaks would arguably prolong his ring life but being inactive has some adverse affect also. but we saw that taking a break from the tough welter competitions back in 2008 has not affected floyd in any form so him taking a break now would benefit him more i guess.

Nah, Floyd is one of the hardest workers in the game and takes little punishment.

O sorry man, I didn't say you were dumb, I said the response was. I know what you're trying to say, it's just the way you said it. Oscar has been in more wars than Floyd has

If the fight doesnt happen next year I don't really care to see it. Both guys are going to going to start fading physically.
