You should be worried a little bit, there is a good chance floyd is slowing down with his footwork especially at his age and him being inactive, whoever he fights next pacquiao, martinez, khan at late 11, will have a good chance of beating him when his legs arent there. I like to think that he still is near prime but just choose to fight like this, hence my question why take the unnecessary risk in the opening rounds against one of the hardest punchers?Floyd doesnt strike me as a person who likes risks thats much thats why im wondering about it, it was a decent win for him by the way.

No, Marquez didn't use a bicycle for emmanuel. He took these small steps backwards to control the distance.

Floyd has a good chin point blank only been down once and that was questionable because of a broken hand and had to fight southpaw so really he's never been KD maybe hurt but never KD. In the Judah fight that was a KD , and in this business you are going to get hurt thats just the way this sport operates.
I never thought Mosley hit that hard anyway, Mosley is not a one punch king.

well at the moment because of him stop doing anything noteworthy after stunning floyd and his fight with mora, it is for a part that they both are good defensively and not good style matchups for mosley, but also because he is clearly over the hill, mosley always has power but he got outboxed by mayorga and he seems worse now then he was back then. I think pacquiao will stop mosley in 7 rounds if mosley doesnt get him out of there in the first 3/4 rounds. He is just old, if he wants to keep his health hope he retires after the pacquiao fight.

Did you see Floyd after he got hit with those punches. His legs buckled, but he recovered so quick and was smiling after it and taunted Shane a little.

A near shot Shane tried to finish him. A younger Shane would have been bombing him with hooks . Shane looked like a decrepit old man in there.

[FONT=&quot]Of course, this is a contact sport. Anything can happen. This was the 41st fight of my career, like I said before, anything can happen. But my job is like being a cop: One shot can end your entire career. So me, just being a sharp fighter, I went back to my corner.

My corner really wasn't tripping. They told me, 'Floyd, just relax and do what you do.' My uncle, [Roger Mayweather,] said, 'Just relax and do what you do.' And I turned around and asked my father [Floyd Mayweather Sr.], 'What's going on?'

And he said, 'You know what you've got to do.' My father said, 'Just stick to the game plan, I told you what you've got to do.' Third round, we came out, we pressed the attack. But we were smart. We broke with the left hook when he tried to use the same shot.

It was that same shot that he knocked Fernando Vargas out with. I said, 'He likes to break with the left hook too.' I think that, just, mentally, I'm a smarter fighter. I think that a lot of fighters fight off of strength. Other fighters worry about who's the fastest. I just work on timing and being smart.

I was getting my left over his right hand. I was also getting a full, right-hand counter over his left jab so that he would stop using his jab.

He was making a statement, he didn't have to run vs. Mosley. Many thought Mosley would be the stronger bully, mosley and others thought wrong.

    Floyd is a complete fighter

Wow, solid post. I also think the whole "gassed" theory is bs. Mosley was throwing up until round 12, just because he's not sucessful doesn't mean he's tired.

A younger shane would also be facing a younger Floyd. Shane should count his blessings that this fight happened when it did. He walks home with a big paycheck and doesn't take much punishment.

Was anyone surprised at Floyd bullying Shane around in the clinches?

Floyd always was and always will be wrong for Mosley. Shane wasn't eager at all to fight Floyd, citing his tooth trouble. He ended up taking the fight after Floyd became Cash Cow.
