Why didnt Floyd get on his bike vs Mosley?

Pacquiao does not stand in one place for more than seconds at the most, I have seen Pacquiao sit on the ropes or on the inside for breathers then immediately come back with a flurry or catch someone throwing a punch like Cotto when he had him against the ropes.

It was quite obvious that Floyd was caught in the inside not once but twice vs. Mosley and hurt badly, Pacquiao isn't Floyd's other opponents he is infinitely faster and if you make a mistake with him you will be out of there, Floyd will fight a safety first outside fight vs. Pacquiao.

Pacquiao has a very large chance at beating Floyd unlike the rest of his opponents, I don't think he can stomach losing and I believe that's why this fight hasn't happened.

This will be no potshot sparring party, sit on the inside shoulder rolling everything kind of night for Floyd, if the fight ever happens one of these decades.

When I talk inside, this is what I mean:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WF299XH1w4#t=0m50s

Phone booth fighting. n*ggas like Floyd, Hopkins, James Toney, etc do it. Only time I seen emmanuel do work in the phone booth was back in asia before he even met roach.

Floyd will make it close range combat at certain points of the fight. Being a southpaw means nothing on the inside. Floyd is a master at playing the clinch game, but emmanuel can't play clinches for ****.

Nah I understand what you are saying, but isnt standing on the ropes inside fighting, the ali rope a dope **** he did vs cotto was inside fighting to me, he let Cotto beat on him for like 10 seconds then came back with a flurry and knocked Cotto down.

Pacquiao darts around like a grasshopper, I very much doubt there will be any phone booth philly shell stuff going on for more than a few seconds, Pacquiao is constantly moving his feet. Floyd is better at clinching than Pacquiao

    :huh

I think you miss the point of him not mentioning Pacquiao, in that interview. He was promoting the Mosely fight...not a fight with Pacquiao. One thing that makes him great is that he does not look past the fighter in front of him. Pac does the same.

All I'm trying to say is that you're going out on a real limb by saying Floyd would TKO Pacquiao easily that's stretching it a little bit too far in my opinion. This fight has boring decision written all over it.

Ok I get what you're saying and I agree, but what I'm saying is when Manny is in the pocket he isn't good there and usually just takes punishment until he moves away.

I got you, I don't think it'll be easy and I debate with myself if it'll happen or not, but I can see it happening, but I can also see why you wpuldn't think it'd happen also

That's enough time. Morales and Marquez kept it at a distance, but they also knew when to smother emmanuel up close.

Sure Marquez had a lot of success, but he also exchanged punches with Pacquiao a lot. I do not see Floyd exchanging punches with Pac the same way as Morales/Marquez did, even though Marquez had success he had to open himself up to get that success and in the mean time was severely hurt in both fights, even Morales to some extent.

I'm not saying Pac would win I'm just saying that it isn't that easy and even though Marquez and Morales laid out blueprints, they are both mexicans and way more obliged to mixing it up, Morales was even chasing Pac in the first fight, I obviously don't see Floyd doing something like that.

He knows Mosley cant fight backing up, and he smothered Shane by grabbing his right arm in the clinch aswell.

Floyd likes to walk down his southpaw victims, and emmanuel is less effective going backwards than forwards. I don't see Floyd walking down emmanuel at first, he doesn't have to since emmanuel will be aggressively pursuing him. Later in the fight though.
