Anyone think Floyd would have beaten a prime DLH?

How many kinds of idiot are you? You didn't see anyone talking about how shitty ODLH looked v. Forbes?

Prime DLH is bigger, stronger, just as fast, much more aggressive, hits harder, iron chin that Floyd can't even dent. The only edge Floyd has against a prime Oscar is defensive skills, which can keep him from getting hurt but can't help him win a decision. I don't see any way PBF can win this fight.

p4p you could maybe give Floyd a slight edge on sheer boxing skill, h2h he loses 10 out of 10.

Oscar got schooled by Felix ****ing Sturm. At that point, we all knew he was done. Odds for Oscar against Hopkins were like 5/1. That's journeyman territory.

The Floyd Mayweather that fought Mosley beats the Oscar that fought Trinidad.

The Floyd of 2006-2007 might lose to that version of Oscar. Smaller, not filled into the wieght ect ect.

The Floyd that fought Mosley is strong, big and still retains his speed and intelligence.

Or how shitty he looked against Ike Quartey. How about that?

Prime Oscar is not as fast as Floyd, nor as good of timing. Nor as smart, nor the incredible stamina, nor the defensive capabilities, not even close.

Clearly you forgot alot of attributes here.

I do not think so. If one uses logic, Floyd won a split decision against an old DLH who was about to retire. A prime DLH would have defeated Mayweather comfortably.

Mayweather would clearly outclass prime de la hoya at 147lbs this isn't a debate. Mayweather clearly outclassed the 165lb Oscar like it was a sparring session. Oscar was coming off a spectacular win against 154lb champion Mayorga.

An old DLH was beating Mayweather easy just with the jab.
Had not ODLH stopped using his jabs it would have been an easy victory for him.
    split decision for Floyd.

Those versions of DLH were better for sure but I still wouldnt put money on him beating Mayweather - who many felt actually underperformed to his usual standard in beating a DLH who produced 1 last great performance on the night... & still lost.

Both at their best at 147 Id pick Mayweather by close but clear decision but I wouldnt be suprised to see Oscar win as he was bigger, hit harder & was very fast himself... the punch accuracy & ability to avoid clean shots would give Floyd the edge tho IMO.

style make fights and floyd would never fight like tito. i could just say a prime delahoya doesn't last 6 rounds with the floyd that beat gatti, but such statements would be wrong because delahoya isn't gatti.

it takes a dumb ass fan to come up with these kind of threads.

You don't know **** about boxing, and the ****** ref who had to be on crack that night that gave it DLH should be shot.

Mayweather dominated that fight so easily it was comical, it wasn't even close. DLH was hitting air and elbows and eating counters all night.

Whenever DLH used his jabs Mayweather did not know what to do. He could not even repond to ODLH jabs.

Vs the Mayweather that disected Gatti in masterful fashion ?.... mmmm.... not sure about that one, Floyd looked fkn sublime in that fight - class of opponent aside - he looked close to perfection in offence, defense & timing.
