  3. i think that it would be a war prime vs prime but i have no doubt , i pick frazier basing on bert cooper vs holyfield. joe was the real smokin.

In the cases where you do not state prime what are we going off?

  5. obviously all them in their best moment, but i wanted to say peak, not prime really, tyson had a short prime. for example we never saw prime ron lyle, he did his pro debut in his 30s.charles at hw was not in his prime.for example i did not put "prime" louis prime marciano or prime holmes because they were great during a long time, tyson was in his prime only during 2 years.86-88, he was very good in his prime and he was not close when he was past his prime. cooney was a great contender in his prime but he was a joke post holmes really. great difference among prime cooney and past prime cooney. it is because i did put "prime"

I actually agree that Frazier would beat Louis 7-8 times out of 10. Louis was open to left hooks his entire career and Smokin' was elusive enough to evade the Bomber's jab and time that right hand all night.

  7. i agree, and joe louis said too that the pressure fighters were bad for him. louis said that even in his prime very hardly might beat marciano. and honestly doesn´t exist any proof to prove that marciano was more durable than frazier, foreman would destroy marciano as well, and bonavena who did put frazier down was a ****ing bull, a very solid and strong man. oscar was by far stronger than walcott who did put marciano down. frazier was bigger, heavier and possibly stronger than marciano too. yes, i think that the best frazier 70-71 frazier would beat the best joe louis 7/10 times. prime louis would beat any other version of frazier.

I think there's a good probability Louis knocks him out before Frazier can even get warmed up. Being a slow starter against a marauder like Joe Louis is a recipe for disaster.

I respectfully disagree. Louis;s punches would be very devestating vs frazier at close range.

  12. archie said that marciano was harder puncher than louis, foreman was by far harder puncher than they both( dempsey and louis himself said it too). in my humble opinion frazier might take the shots from louis, very few fighters might beat this version of frazier and in my opinion the brown bomber was not one of them. frazier in the years 70,71 was a ****ing bull full of adrenaline who would risk his life in the ring.i think that he would have been too much for louis. but i respect your opinion

Yeah man you're spot on Combo. Frazier that beat Ali should be held on a pedestal like Montreal Duran and Toledo Dempsey are. That Frazier is the best H2H HW ever.

Frazier never dealt with the five-six punch lightning fast combinations of Louis. Its not all about power, but about handspeed, combinations and accuracy.

Frazier matches up better vs boxers then he does against boxer-punchers IMO. He would walk into Louis's punches.
