you just said haye didn't beat up thompson in sparring and that i wasn't there, when i told you thompson said it himself now sparring doesn't matter?:rofl
Sparring definately matters to Klit-ites....I still chuckle at Mendoza constantly suggesting that Ruiz dropped Lewis in sparring :rofl
Only this one, RIGHT OUT OF THOMPSON's MOUTH. http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/sport/story/54028.html Haye's been battering me - Thompson ESPN staff November 2, 2010 This content is protected | This content is protected This content is protected Tony Thompson: Haye will destroy Harrison © Getty Images Enlarge Related Links News: This content is protected Profile: This content is protected | This content is protected Tony Thompson, the man who supposedly floored This content is protected in sparring, has told This content is protected that he is 'leagues below' Haye going into the November 13 showdown. Haye and Harrison are set for the biggest All-British heavyweight boxing encounter since Lennox Lewis met Frank Bruno, with the WBA heavyweight title the prize for the winner. And in a clash of two former training partners, the trash talk ahead of the bout - particularly from the Harrison camp - has been relentless. On Monday the Olympic gold medallist This content is protected by claiming that sparring partner Thompson had put him on his back. Harrison said: "I want Haye to tell me and the rest of the world what Tony Thompson did to him a couple of weeks ago, because I hear Tony Thompson knocked him down in training. "Tony Thompson is not a puncher, David Haye - I am. If Tony Thompson's putting you down, what the hell am I going to do to you? It's so beautiful. He brought in this guy trying to get publicity for him, but he's knocked him down already." Thompson did not comment on the alleged knockdown, but he did offer his opinion on the outcome of the November 13 fight, insisting Haye will win 'easily'. And in a taunt that could lead to a future fight between Thompson and Harrison, the 38-year-old claimed Harrison is not even on his level. "I couldn't have been more impressed with David in sparring, and he was twice the fighter I first thought he was," said Thompson. "I just think this is going to be an easy win for him on November 13. "I told David at the beginning that if he can hit me with right hands and beat the hell out of me in practice, he will destroy Audley Harrison. If David can do what he did to me, Audley's got no shot in this fight at all. "Audley is nowhere near on this level. He's leagues below where I'm operating and that's just common boxing knowledge. Anybody that has ever watched a fight on television knows that. Audley might be an Olympic gold medallist, but he's nowhere near me as a pro. I've achieved, beaten good guys and mixed with the best, whereas Audley has achieved next to nothing so far."
ok hendo, but supposedly thompson has knocked down haye,so it looks like haye's chin is really suspicious
Sparring is sparring, it lacks the motivational factor of a real fight and also doesn't mean Thompson turned up in peak condition. You have no idea what happened in sparring. All Thompson said was if Haye fought Harrison in the manner he was sparring with him he'd have no trouble. I agreed that Thompson could present some stylistic and early problems, I never said he'd beat Haye. And then you proceed to go on and say Wlad went life and death with Thompson. atsch
I'm tellin you though, you're wrong. Thompson is too slow, stationary, predictable, and easy to hit. Haye would slaughter him. Thompson would barely land a punch, and when Haye attacked, he wouldn't be able to get a punch off. Thompson can counter punch guys like Wlad, at least to a certain extent, but Haye's speed and reflexes are on a different planet than Wlad's. Thompson got where he is based on size and reach. He has no style. It's sad that the fight went 11 rounds with Wlad when the guy was so easy to hit. It's just that Wlad is not used to his opponent being able to hit him, and his lack of overall versatility means that even an opponent as limited as Thompson was able to hit him just due to his size and reach. When Wlad fights Haye, it's gonna be like Pearl Harbor, he's gonna get hit with so many bombs from so many different angles, he won't know what the hell to do. This probably explains his demeanor and reluctance to sign the contract, instead opting to let Vitali fight him instead.
Man this got a few pages sorry for taking the **** Klit fans, sometimes its too easy!! Anyway the fight will happen and none of the fighters are scared of each other its just bull****.
Wlad always says "WE" will fight Haye. Vitali says "I" will fight David Haye. Wlad is only half the man his brother.
He's speaking as a promoter. It's not like he's saying they both fight him in the same moment. **** you're stupid.
