Pretty Boy Floyd vs Pacquiao

He would win based on hand speed, stamina and power. Floyd switches to a peek a boo style vs. fast fighters like Mosley and Judah, he sticks his gloves up high because he can't shoulder roll the punches, he can't see them coming.
This presents a problem where he'll be in a guard the majority of the fight and has a very large chance of getting outpointed. Floyd is open for the straight left, he can't philly shell it up vs. Pacquiao, Marquez was able to make it close on points with Pac because he mixed it up and exchanged, same with Morales.

Sure you can post videos of Marquez having success against Pac, but keep in mind that was 17lbs less than 147lbs and keep in mind Marquez was severely hurt in that fight. Don't underestimate power and speed combined.

I don't want to hear anything about how Floyd dominated Mosley/Judah, the fact is he has problem seeing fast punches this is fact.

money mayweather is a more cerebral and cagey opponent than pretty boy floyd. pretty boy only holds physical advantages but money is a wiser and all-around a better ring general than pretty boy. this is the same pretty boy who lost and fought a close one with castillo. money would have dealt with castillo like a true veteran and outclass him

 

Im not using him as an example agaoinst pac, im merely stating their strong points and showing comparison, like i said the two best pure boxers pac has faced have given him trouble.

In pacs fight against morales 1 he was shot and still mangedd to beat him, and jmm was knocked down around 4 times in his two fights agaionst pac yet won both of them imo and gasve him hell.

the difference is floyd has physical and mental advantages over these fighters.

 

Look man I'm not buying Pacman vs. Mosley this comming May, 2011. Because its a terrible match-up.

My sentiments was the same when Floyd fought Mosley. That man is Old, Floyd could have knock the **** of Mosley if he bullied him. Floyd was countering SSM all day long, the same thing he will do to Pacman if they ever get to face in the ring.

Floyd is an intelligent fighter he knows that its not nice to play bully with Pacman. I say he use that reach advantage and frustrate Pacman to death.

 

You guys are overlooking the fact Mayweather does not throw a lot of punches either. Even in a dominating boxing performance against Marquez, Marquez still threw 100 more punches.

If floyd throws such few shots against Pac he better hope those hurt him or makes him respect his power like they did to Mosley or he's in for some trouble. Floyd does a lot of things better than Marquez but throwing combinations and more punches are not one of them.

Just my two cents, if Pac doesn't respect his punches he will lose and that's probably too much of a chance for Mayweather to take.

 

I think money and preety boy are obviously the same fighter the difference is money is alot more smarter due to experience and has more physical strentgh.

 

Here we go, a true analysis. Floyd doesn't need to get in exchanges with Pac because he can land 1 or 2 shots ans dodge the ones coming back. Morales and marquez would get hit with a combo and have to throw another combo to even things out. Manny won't be landing any of that on Floyd. Manny does have power, but it's more of a accumulation affect and Floyd won't be moving forward like Manny's other opponents so the unches will lose steam.
Manny is fast, but Floyd has faster hands. Plus you nullify speed with a jab and timing. So when you take that into consideration, who's speed do you think will be nulified in the fight

 

They stand right in front of him and not give any angles. A lot of folks are laboring under the impression that Manny is gonna stand right in front of him and throw. He is gonna beat him with his feet and Mayweather knows it.

Shane is old yes, but even shot fighters who lose their skills etc dont lose their phyical strentgh to the same degree as their other assets.

I think he will counter pac earl mid fight and towards the end go for the stoppage, he will find pac head to easily imo, margo had no problem landing triple jabs on pacs cranium i saw this three times. thats not a good look from a slow weight drained fighter.
