Good thread. Clear win for Floyd in a tough fight. Oscar was a tough match at 154lbs, especially considering he held all of the tangible advantages in the fight that came from the negotiating table.
foreal, I think they score rounds differently with FLoyd since he never gets hit, if you throw enough punches and hit his arms enough, you'll get the round
Well, Emanuel ended up admitting that Floyd was going to lose the fight if he didn't start doing something. this was around rounds 6-8 -- when Oscar was winning.

Gotta love Floyd Snr. He's such garbage that he even goes on to say this about his son, just because he trained Oscar. And people believe this dude about Pac being on roids. But yeah, the guy is just giving his honest opinion. :rofl
It was a split decision. Floyd ran too much in this fight. ODLH chased floyd and made the fight. DLH was winning easy while using his jabs. With that in mind, he knew that he would defeat Floyd in a rematch but Floyd backed out from it after DLH through jabs for 12 rounds against Forbes.
Oscar knocked Void' head back over and over again. Oscar was cheated out of a decision he earned. Oscar won that fight. In the meantime, Void runs from Pac and beats up more women, guards, hey, how about the small child?
What I remember most about this fight was that the punch stats were complete bull****. Floyd was landing alot on Oscar's gloves and elbows and they were counting them as punches. At the time I watched the Sky telecast (no punch stats) and I thought it was a close fight. Floyd maybe won by 1 or 2 rounds. I was surprised when HBO had it such a whitewash. They were highly influenced by the Compubox numbers, which were bogus that fight.
The thing was that Oscar had decent defense, and Floyd wasn't that offensive. The majority of the clean work in that fight didn't come from Oscar.
Check out HBO's punch stats for the Martinez/Williams fight and you will find out they are fixed! Count them for yourself!
