ive found this is paramount. i got down from 264 to 180 and found that water helped a massive amount with appetite control, energy production and digestion

    :!:

That is some loss! Kudos on that. How long did it take you and how much water per day?

2ltrs is on a regular day but the evening when i train i double that at least.

    I'm guessing at 180lbs you are about 5ft10 - 6ft?

    I'm 5ft 10 but i'm think-set so i think 190lbs - 200lbs is a good weight for me. I'm way too small and unhealthy at anything less than 180lbs!

thanks bro. it took me about 3 years total but i lost heaps in the first 4 months. i found i plateued at 242 then again at 228 then 200 and then spent AGES at 189 despite very high intensity boxing training. oh yeah im 5 ft 10 and go through at least a litre of water a day. probably around 2 when i train.
i had to give running away cause it ****ed my hips and i found i got better results from long steep hills climbs on a bike.
i made a rule i wasnt allowed to stop until i got to the top. i didnt care how slow i went or how long it took or what gear i was in as long as i didnt stop. the weight poured off when i started that

I weigh in 209 lbs in august and is now down to 174 last time i check. I might have gained some since it's the holiday:lol:. But i stop lifting weights and stop taking protein shakes and went on a diet.

I am now doing the insanity workout. It's tough as hell but im gonna keep doing it and hopefully lose another 20 lbs. I want to get down to 150's by the time im done with insanity.

i've gone down to ~168 from 225 since last April, once you get the ball rolling it's hard to stop pushing yourself and seeing how much you can take off.

I have dropped about 45 lbs since last December and plan to drop another 30lbs next year.

All I did, was change majority of weight lifting exercises, to more boxing training and drink way less beer.

    Works like a charm.

Most meals these days have either rice (Thai rice is good) or Cous Cous.

This is a good meal for anyone interested... (I add lots of chillis like scotch bonnets too because i like my food hot)

    After Xmas update:

So times have been bad for lynchburg recently due to sickness :( I've had the flu since before xmas and the damaged ligaments in my foot have been playing me up.

I weighed in today at 212lbs! This is a total loss of 41lbs so far!

I'm really pleased with how it is all going up to now as my muscle mass is going up while i'm still lossing weight.

I feel stronger, faster, healthier and happier!

My target is to be in the ring in late August/early september in Thailand if all goes well. The original plan was to make 200lbs but if i don't feel to lean i might make 180lbs or so but we'll see.

Anyone achieving at the moment? Good luck to all at ESB!

    Weighed in today at 14st 13lbs!!! :D 209lbs...

I've cut the weight loss back a bit over the last few months as my training has gone up a lot more so i'm reducing my body fat percentage but keeping weight.

The original plan was to get to about 190lbs but i think now i could make 180lbs or so. It's looking like there is a chance i could have a Thai boxing match in november (fingers crossed) so i'll have plenty of time to make the 175lb light heavyweight limit. I'm thinking if i get down to about 180-185lbs and cut the rest the night before.

I'm now doing my BJJ with Chico Mendez as well so that is a massive plus :D I'm also starting to train with a top MMA featherweight as of next week so my overall game should get a lot better very soon... or so i hope!

Anyone else been training hard or losing weight?

Keep it up lynch! I've been up and down the scale over the last few years, and I know how hard it is.

Don't punk out on the predictions either.
