I want to get that game for my xbox 360 but i'm not sure if it's good. Anybody played it yet? How was it?
It's fun if you like kickboxing but the grappling is really difficult. I've never ever submitted another fighter in the game. The kickboxing aspect is a lot of fun when playing against your buddies. ALl of the fighters fight almost exactly alike so that can get old quick but it's definitely worth picking up. As far as MMA games go - despite it's limitations, UFC Undisputed is the best.
cool thanks for the info..have u play the other mma game? I think it's called MMA with couture and fedor on the cover. Is that one any good?
EA Sports MMA. No, I haven't played it yet. I've been meaning to pick it up but just haven't had the chance.
oh ayt...yea it was available when i went to game stop earlier but i wanted the ufc game which they didn't have.
They're both pretty crap, the grappling system in EA is better but the striking is alot harder but the career mode is slightly better in EA. My suggestion is Fight Night round 4, not MMA but easily the best combat game on the market.
i thought both had there flaws but EA MMA was slightly better IMO (game play wise at least) I think its still some time till MMA makes a successful transition into video games, its hard to implement the ground game and stay "fun".
EA MMa all the way dude. At least you can sub in EA MMA, ground game is simple, you have to feel the gamepad move then you block the attemp at transition ! Stand up is ****in cool, and personnaly I think it's a little more realistic then UFC. And it's only the first draft of an MMA game by EA. UFC the clich and ground game is awful and you can't sub someone except if you knock him on the ground with a body slam, or if you do a second sub right after the first one failed....because it will fail the first time.
EA MMA is a lot easier but UFC 2010 is more realistic. In UFC you can do nearly every move but in MMA you can't even elbow standing. In UFC the subs are very hard. YOu have to turn the stamina bar on in the in game function and drive it down on the other player. Then when you lock in the sub you have to hold to button down until you go into the yellow zone and start spinning.... lost yuo yet? Both are good. UFC is more real for me but MMA has Vale Tudo rules and circularcages and boxing rings. Both career modes are ****. Online for both is ****. There are a lot of belts available on MMA but if you are just getting the game then forget about it. I'm pretty good at it (3rd Dan Green belt) and i'm 57 - 51 online on MMA! Lynchburg
**** yeah. I ****ing love it. Pistol whips EA's one into oblivion. The premise is pretty basic. But i normally always fight as Wandy and i know all the moves now so its pretty much like watching a real fight when i play. I beat the **** out of Griffin Bonnar and Bisping every night. Its awesome bashing their mug in from guard.
I dig FN4! I have all of the downloadable content with both Klitschko's, Holyfield, B-Hop, De La Hoya and young James Toney. Makes for some awesome matchups.
