    IMO, if SRL knows it's a 12 round fight going in, he chops Hearns down within the time frame just like he did in their first fight. Tommy's chin is never holding up to a prime SRL in aggressive mode.

    Yes, he probably was. And if the fight had been made at LMW instead of SMW I believe Hearns probably would have been KO'd (if he'd even been able to make weight).

    There would always be an arguement though that if that was the case, why didn't he do it earlier? That may well have been the case, but a statement like that sort of inadvertently implies that Leonard could have stepped it up and taken out Hearns' anytime he wanted.
