2 fights in four months? Wtf. Go look at how many big fights took place in Nov and Dec alone. 2011 isn't yet something to get excited about. It could be, or should be, though.

It's two fights in 2 months. Dunno where you are getting four months from. Also, Montiel v Donaire and Bradley Alexander are higher calibre fights than Froch v Abraham, JMM v Katsidis, Mares v Darchinyan, Agpeko v Perez.

The only one on a similar level is Khan v Maidana and they were collectively ranked lower than Bradley v Alexander.

He's bound to step up sooner or later. Should be interesting to see how he develops.

If it wasnt for he hand i think he would of stepped up and battled a top 20 guy at least. Makes me sick with guys like A Farce get title shots and i believe Denis B would give haye alot of trouble . Young, fast, powerful u know what im saying

Do not expect Mayweather to face either Pac or Martinez.
A cherry picker would not do that.

Nice post...Being from Missouri, I was REALLY hoping the Alexander/Bradley fight was going to take place in St. Louis. So much for that thought... :-(

Aside from Mayweather/Pac actually ever happening, I'm probably most excited about seeing Bute vs the Super Six winner, Haye vs Wladimir and Gamboa vs Lopez.

In addition to all of these, Cotto will probably be fighting again soon - supposedly already scheduled on the same card as Martinez's next fight. I know he's already suffered two pretty devestating defeats, but he's got the heart of a lion and I still look forward to seeing him in the ring again - especially now that he has a new trainer and a new crop of potential opponents at 154.

Khan is an exciting fighter to watch, but I think he still has some major defensive liabilities to take care of before he's ready for the big time. Offensively he's VERY explosive and quick, but he needs to keep the gloves up on defense.

2 fights, 2 months, then nothing until Pac v Mosley. It's a pretty dry winter/spring. Subject to change though.

It's two better, more important fights than any we have seen in the entire year of 2010. In case you haven't noticed, fights aren't usually announced 4 months before hand, it's usually 2-3 and this is a better start to a year of boxing in quite some time. You're ignoring fights like the S6 and bantam tourney which just need a date to be set. How you can't acknowledge that it is looking very good is baffling.

What kind of man dresses up like a ****ing woman and puts it as his avatar? Second, you need to get your **** wired back right. Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. Maybe you just lost a bet or something I don't know but the **** makes it hard to post cause I wouldn't dare talk to a Tranny. Now the dude said potential fights. Pacquaio and Mayweather are both to blame for this fight not happening and I know as a ******* its hard for you to admit Manny bares any responsibility in this entire process.
