I'd be worried about him being gunshy and unable to pull the trigger in this. Just because the opponents might be subpar doesn't always make a difference in cases like this. It's like Oscar, he would be capable of losing to just about anybody right now regardless of the class he formerly had because he's that second or two too slow, the mind sees the openings but the body does not react.

I think we'll see a similar thing here, and his chin is likely to be eroded somewhat, the timing where power comes from will be pretty hit and miss..

Reid gave Froch some problems early in the fight but his heart clearly wasn't in it when it got tough.

    He won't win this.

Yep, there were some odd things happening before that fight, apparently several attempts to try and get Calzaghe. Wasn't there something about his tea and meals he tried after the weigh-in?

You're right, Woodhall spotted it in the ice-cream before he ate it.

Well as mentioned by Grant and Slip he had a number of issues in build up to fight and after the fight he mentioned that he had glass in his ice cream and that it was a factor in his display being not so great.

I'd like to read a proper article on the matter all i know is off memory of the night and aftermath.

"Believe me, this is no publicity stunt. Someone did this quite cold- bloodedly," said Warren.
