Amir Khans Prescott Rant!

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by checklefthook, Dec 28, 2010.

  1. "My fight against Prescott was not a loss it was a blessing, he's a bum but I needed that defeat to put me where I am now, it wAs a wake up call. I'm now on this level thanx to him, facing bigger names an tougher opponents. Bringing boxing alive again."

"About Prescott it's all hype some fool posted something on a chat forum n every1 blew it up. Prescott doesn't wana fight me n if he'd get knocked out at 140lbs I'm a different fighter bring it on. That fight won't happen but il try for all my fans that way we want"

Maybe we should use websites such as Twitter and Facebook to set up fights, fighters certainly seem to let off a lot of steam over these websites.

He's embarassing when he talks like that.

I see Carl Froch's and Haye's Twitter and it's all nice, formal and well punctuated, and then you see Khan's

But he's only just turned 24 and he'll learn eventually.

I kind of do question if Prescott wants it again, but then again, why would he not want a World title shot with a guy who arguably get's him the biggest payday of his career and a man who he flattened in 54 seconds.

    Hard to believe you, Khan.

Perfect time to fight him. It would be a perfect stay busy fight whilst we await bradley. It would be big over here where the fight would be held, plus fighting two hard hitters in a row, one proven, would be very good for his credentials.

I genuinely can not see a reason for this fight not to happen.

this is what i meant when I said amir khan easily will get to big for his boots. whats the point of this rant, back it up then, April on the haye-klit undercard is the perfect time to get this demon out of his head and the haters of his back. after that move on to bigger things, he can fight prescott and basically take 80% of the money involved. if its such a easy win, prove it instead of saying it on twitter or facebook.

Promoters would love it because its sellable and an easy win for Khan.

I dont want this fight, Presscot is an avergae contender at lightweight, Khan is a world class light welter now.

are you affraid he somehow strikes khan out again, you can never blame a man for avenging his losses, I think if you truly think you are better you would like to show it right? its perfect stay busy, money, and personal.

just when i thought hed matured..... no need to call Prescott a bum. if prescott is a bum what does that make khan being KO'd in 54 seconds?!?!

I wouldn't flak Khan for fighting Prescott and avenging his only loss. I would, however, rather see him face somebody else. Inevitably, if he faces the winner of Bradley vs. Alexander, it wouldn't really matter to me who he faced before that. He has already silenced rumors about him having a glass chin. I do still think his legs are a little shaky, but he survives quite well. They could be his downfall, though.
