A wide UD vs an Abraham on fire would look pretty good on Ward's resume, compared to a wide UD vs a Turtlewaxed Arthur that acts as shy & reluctant as he did vs Froch.

That, or AA by KO around the 9th. Ward gets caught at midrange, chin gets tested. :D

I see 90% chances of a Ward UD... look out for the other 10% though.

So he was overtrained, what does he have to say about not letting it all out in the ring? On the brink of losing, he turtled up and accepted defeat, he didn't even give it a try, ask Ulli Wegner, he'll tell you. Abraham gave up against Froch, he never threw in the towel but he turtled up and ACCEPTED DEFEAT. That has nothing to do with overtraining, that's being a defeated man, boxing is not forgiving to people with that mentality.

    Abraham will lose.

Abraham will be hugged, jabbed, held and headbutted to bits by Sven Ward.

Coming off two losses I'm sure AA will be very dangerous like wounded animal. However, I have faith in Ward's ability to adapt a game plan for victory. I don't see AA changing his style at all. I'll bet Ward by UD.

No. He'll be the same person. I don't believe he can change. He starts WAY WAY too late.

This should be a walk in the park for AA.

Ward leaves himself open a lot, so there will be chances there for Abraham and I'm certain he has the power to hurt Ward, if he does land. Funny things can happen and it wouldn't surprise me completely to see Ward get hit a few times and try and fight on the backfoot the entire fight.

    Should be interesting, anyway.

Sounds like you trying to say that the result in that fight was more due to Abraham's one dimension skillset than Froch's best yet performance?

Abraham has one style, you either cope with it or you don't, Froch and Dirrell have so far, though Froch for me was far more succesful in doing so.

Unless Ward knocks him out, I really struggle to see how Ward can top Froch's win over AA.

doesnt matter how motivated he is, his bull**** style doesn't work on world class fighters. After this, he's going to disappear & go back to fighting bums in Germany

Ward will make him angry with the inside game. AA's weaker physically. Instead of giving up like he did against dinosaur reach Froch who frustrated him from the outside, maybe the opposite will happen. "Me no lose" says the caveman... hard for the caveman to catch Froch, where as Ward will keep on coming in if he's the same Ward who fought Bika. Ward better study & dodge the midrange Abrahammers or box the dwarf on the outside... otherwise he's putting himself at risk.

Now that AA has said he "can't disappoint" his fans again, I'm almost as pumped for this semi as I am for Froch-Johnson. :bbb
