Can you say "15 round domination"? It would be as thorough a textbook "outboxing" as you would ever hope to see...and without the size advantage that Ali held over Chuvalo. Tunney would be able to get Chuvalo's attention with his shots just as Jimmy Ellis was able to. A very technical, onesided boxing lesson would be meted out to Chuvalo.

Tunney clear decision...but it wouldn't be an easy fight. Chuvalo was an animal.

Based on what? Losing to every great and near great he fought?

  9. basing on styles, quality and size. and chuvalo fought in a much better era.tunney and dempsey never fought ali, foreman, frazier, quarry, bonavena, patterson. simple.

chuvalos power and rough boxing style would be to much for tunney to handle chuvalo would punish tunney to the body before the ref stops the fight mid way through the 5th:think

mister, no offense, but do you ever put any thought into what you post?

  14. i did pick tunney by ud, i think that he would outbox chuvalo but i do not think that his opinion was "impossible"(of course not in the round 5). chuvalo was an animal and he was a very hard body puncher.and tunney might not avoid chuvalo 100% always...
and i think that chuvalo would have been more competent in the era of tunney than vice versa

Its the abreviation for , " in your opinion", which you neglected to preface, your remark about Chuvalo ,making," a very decent rival for Dempsey".
