I dont know about stopping Maidana. He shows to have alot of heart. Dropping him i think so. He can be vulnerable when caught in between punches ala Ortiz. Also Khan dropped him with body shots. Did you see the body shots JMM was landing on Katsidis. Those were loud bombs. Ok you guys sold me. Make this fight in 2011. Another FOTY for JMM Damn that would make it 3 years in a row.

JMM tko 10, this fight would be awesome.... I can imagine the drama leading up to a fight like this. Lets see what jmm decides, maybe morales 140 then a young lion next.... Time will tell...
Still think jmm takes this, Maidana will always be a threat because of his power, but jmm has too much advantage in ring IQ to be walked over by anyone 140 & below.

Yeah you may be right there, but I'm talking about the pressure style that Maidana has. He will be eating counters all night from jmm & we all know jmm can bang smartly. Jmm works the body real well too.
Yea did you hear those body shots he was landing on Katsidis. When i saw that body work i knew it would be over in the middle rounds. No man can take those type of body shots all night.
he could have went for khan instead of katsidis when it was offered to him so that he can prove that he can fight above 135. as it is, p4p he will beat maidana but sizewise, maidana is even bigger than pac around fight night and punch much harder. maidana would just keep on coming against the lightweight and wear jmm out.
It'll be an interesting fight for sure. Maidana has the one punch that can change the fight or end it altogether. Jmm has great recuperation & ring smarts to adjust his gameplan as needed. Still got jmm on this one. Hope it gets done.
JMM gets stopped imo. Maidana too big and strong. He would eat JMM's punches and then walk him down. Also, JMM is no Mayweather. He does get hit. Katsidis hit him with some 20-30 power punches in a couple rounds I think.
