he should probably stay at 135.Murray as someone said or Rees would be money spinners in the U.K.but good luck to him if he fights Khan.his career will be brief but entertaining.

This kid Katsidis is determine to end up punchy , rich enough but punchy all the same with his choice of opponent . Khan would box the living **** out of Kat's and it wouldn't end quickly or painlessly for Kat's either . Kat's will be remembered and admired as a warrior no doubt but what's the point in that if your coconut is too scrambled to appreciate the accolades and your wealth ? If mick is determine to fight on then a few easier fights should be the order of the day then when young Nathan Cleverly fights for a PROPER world title mick could tag his arse onto a mega bill here in Wales and fight Rees as a career swan song sort of payday . love to see mick fight live before he is done .

    No way Khan beats Kats.

Khan doesn't have anything that'll keep Kats off him. It took JMM 9 rounds to stop a distracted/disinterested Kats.

The Kats that fought JMM beats the Khan that fought Maidana easy.

Wrong ,,,Khan has plenty to keep Kat's off him ,You think Kat's hits harder than Maidana Johnny and takes him out with one shot ? Khan stood there for a an entire round getting twatted by Maidana (probably the hardest hitting bloke in the division ) and Khan took it all, no way Kat's outpoints Khan either Khan too slick for Kat's in that department also . BTW we all know the story about Micks brother but you are doing Mick a great injustice if you think he didn't give it 100 % in that fight .

I see Josey's wearing his Union Jack blinkers again, while most of the rest of you sorry lot are taking the Ashes loss too heavily.

Kat grinds Khan into the canvas by round 3 then sends him a whitmans sampler afterwards thanking him for the gentle face massage. :deal

 No mate not at all , Kat's is a 135lb fighter and Khan is that much a beast @ 140lbs Freddie is intent on testing him @ 147lbs v the MASTER Lil Floyd in the new year, No way does Mick GRIND Khan anywhere sorry Pecks as he is too ring savy to get steam rolled again in his career Kat's should have fought him when he was offered Mick is on the decline whilst Amir is on the rise . Ps happy new year rabbit ****er . :good

Josey, my comments about Mick being distracted/disinterested were based upon his trainers comments to him between rounds.

Yeah Maidana hits hard but he doesn't apply the same kind of pressure Kats does. When Maidana started to apply some real pressure Khan was on his bike, barely survived the 10th and was trying to hug Maidana to start the 11th. Kats will be on Amir's chest from the opening bell. No way can Khan keep him off him and take him out the way JMM did. He just doesn't have the tools or experience.

Khan may have good speed but he doesn't have the accuracy nor defence of JMM and he still moves around the ring like an amateur.

Your mistaking Kat's for a fighter with one that has the ability to " Stay on Khan's chest from first bells " Khan does have enough experience now to BOX Katsidis from a distance , as for accuracy ? Khan is getting better with every fight and imo would be too much for the Katsidis . anyhow what do you reckon on the weight diff ? Khan is a beast at 140lbs and looking to move on up to 147lbs soon why would he risk fighting a dangerous sort of 135lb fighter in the first place ?

Yeah the weight would benefit Khan but he doesn't sit down enough on his punches for it to matter.

It'd be a big fight for him in England. Kats has a good following and is never in a bad fight. And Roach may think that Kats has been softened up by JMM and won't be too dangerous now.

As much as Katsidis is a true warrior, bottom line is he just can't cut it with the top dogs. Losses to Cassa, Diaz and Marquez prove that. Kats didn't lose to Marquez cos he was distracted or disinterested (if anything he would have been extra motivated with the events), . . . he lost because he is not good enough, plain and simple.

He has a chance to win another world title, but if I were his manager I would steer him well away from Khan.
