I think katsidis with his all action style has a good chance vs khan, just like maidana had.
Brawler, inside, pressure type fighter will always have a chance with khan. He is better matched with boxers and counter punchers.

Khan whoops him easily, he's got nowhere near the power Maidana had, and marks up easily, Khans jab wouldnt miss the target.

Katsidis is easy to hit...he's good at comming forward...but he dont have the chin that Maidana has...or the punch power...and remember he'd be moving up in weight....his punches may not carry the same power...anybody remember the Graham Earl - Katsidis fight....decent british fighter had him down (go to 7.45):

And this is Khan fighting the same fighter, took him 74 seconds to get the guy out:

Not that im saying this shows that Khan will take out Katsidis easy....but i just think Khan would overwhelm him and get a TKO....

I was at the Graham Earl fight. I remember barely getting a chance to sit in my seat before the fight finished

As for Khan vs Katsidis; Katsidis is a puncher but doesn't have the ring intelligence required for world level. Khan picks him apart. Infact, he would have beaten him 2-3 years ago IMO.

Khan dismantles him and looks good doing it.

If Kats wants it, I say Khan should take the fight sometime next year.

Katsidis is naturally a lightweight, Khan is a 140 pounder growing into 147. Significant height and reach advantage for Khan as well. That one left hook against Marquez aside , Katsidis doesn't really have a huge shot, especially against someone bigger.
Somehow I think Mike would last the distance , but would lose to Khan just the same.

I don't understand why people want Khan to fight these C-level fighters to 'prove' himself?

IMO, he surpassed this level of fighter 2 years ago.

Khan is now world level and should ONLY fight world level fighters; JMM, Bradley, Alexander and the like.

Anyone below that is considered a step down and isn't worth paying for.

    Khan by T/KO

Katsidis would have huge problems with Khan's jab. He'd struggle to get inside and Khan would pick him apart till Katsidis' starts to get hurt.
