Froch Kessler not Ring FOTY candidate!

    The Ring fan polls this year didn't have Kessler Froch in the running for either FOTY or ROTY. My god, did they mean Fight of the year in America?

    Personally I thought it was ****. At one point both seemed drunk, throwing wayward punches which were way off the mark. I guess if you like that sort of ****, each to their own I guess.

    ^This. There were a couple of compelling rounds, but I think that, overall, the fight has been grossly overrated.

    So who did the ring award FOTY to? Im assuming Sergio Martinez.

    Also its a shame Mares-Perez wasnt in the running for FOTY. To me that was fight of the year.

    I found that fight boring as hell to be honest, neither fighter showed skills. Just 12 rounds of wild punches, the punches that did land looked accidental. A brawl can be great but the fighters need to be focused and know what they're doing, imposing their wills on each other. Froch v Kessler looked like a schoolyard brawl between 2 scared kids.
