Can someone explain to me why Timothy Bradley is in the p4p top 10??!

i had froch above kessler because i thought froch won the fight away from home, and was on a better run of wins v pascal, taylor, dirrell, where as because i scored the fight for froch in kesslers back garden, it was like kessler had lost 3 of his last 5/6 fights. maybe the equivelant of this would be that you scored the hopkins v calzaghe fight for hopkins and so didn't put calzaghe above hopkins in your p4p rankings after the fight?

with regards to dawson, who would you have said adameks best wins were in the light heavyweight division?

does beating glen johnson make you a p4p fighter? if so there are 14 fighters who have a claim for that. beating pascal would surely prove nothing anyway, pascal is a b-level plodder who has had his ass kicked by froch and a 45 year old hopkins. there was maybe a case for having dawson scrape into a top 10 p4p ranking but to have as your number 3 ?

you didn't answer my question of where you ranked kessler in your p4p rankings before ward beat him?

think we can agree that ward has had the cards stacked in his favour in the super 6 - 3 hometown fights, a good win v kessler, but come on alan green is shite, and if you've got an ounce of fairness in you, the performance against bika was scrappy at best. now if ward had of beat the original line up that he should of faced in the super6 - kessler, (taylor?), and dirrell, then maybe there could be a case for you including ward as number 6. (btw, when you made those rankings, ward had not even fought bika yet anyway, so you were basing it purely on his fights with kessler and green).

 

Miguel vasquez is also a good win, i did forget to mention this.

I like Khan too. Im not one of the Khan haters but he is not gonna be the top dog at 140 by beating Maidana, Kotelnik and Malignaggi.

I think its more like this.

1. Bradley
2. Khan
3. Alexander
4.Maidana

Even Khan and Alexander are pretty close. The thing that made me put Khan ahead is that he beat Kotelnik decisively.

 

Bradley is someone who seems to improve with every fight while increasing the level of his competition. He is just starting to get big fights so why don't you guys just stop crying and watch and see how he does.

If some of your Euro idols would do the same than they would get similar recognition. Instead most of them like to stay in Europe and fight Euro level competition.

Montiel is a 3 division champ, has something like 10 champions on his resume, is a unified champ and the best fighter in arguably the most stacked division in boxing today, and scored a very impressive upset win over Hasegawa, who was on a very impressive streak.

He deserves to be there more than guys like Bradley, Juanma, and even Donaire at this point.

 

YOu going to the fight Zopilote. It sounds like you really like Montiel and tickets are incredibly cheap for a fight of this magnitude. Me and my lady will be there

 

I can see him being ranked on the periphery of the top 10. Somwhere between 10-15 I dont see any problems with that. Has a couple of wins over guys who were the best in the division when he fought them and he's pretty talented and versatile.

 

Maidana barely scraped by shot Corley.

Witter would beat Maidana without a doubt.

 

Montiel has one significant win in the last 4 years or so. That win was a fantastic one, no doubt. But other than Hasegawa who has he beaten? Not anyone of note, outside of a faded Martin Castillo. Furthermore, watching Montiel struggle with fighters like Valdez, Z Gorres, and Melendez makes me question his class.

Khan has the better resume and is the more naturally talented fighter... although Bradley is all round more solid.

Bradley even being in the top ten p4p is also ****ing stupid, and this reeks of national bias.
