That would be closer but I still see a Witter UD.

Maidana still hasn't beaten a TOP10 rated JWW. Victor is TOP10 rated now but beyond that there isn't much in his resume.

    Ward & Dawson P4P top 10?

I don't agree with Headgiver most of the time, but he's right to question those rankings. Both fighters have achieved quality wins, but there are without a doubt plenty more fighters who are more worthy of a top 10 place. 1 good win is not enough, if it was, Jean Pascal would be P4P top 10. And he is clearly not a P4P fighter.

how highly did you rate briggs as a fighter?

so dawson won a close fight v johnson the 1st time and then for the rematch 2 of the judges scored the fight 115-113, you think that is wide and convincing?

you do know that glen johnson has been beaten by the likes of clinton woods, sven ottke, and derik harmon don't you?

so where would you say you (roughly) you had kessler in your p4p rankings when he fought ward, and do you still think that that one win on wards resume was worthy of placing a fighter as number 6 on your p4p list?

Subjective assessment of ability is important in my rankings, and for me Ward and Dawson were and still are two of the most talented fighters out there. Dawson in particular has some excellent wins, Ward has fewer but is still performing extremely well in a prominent position in boxing. Both will prove me right this year.

In my humble opinion, bradley should be grouped with the likes of froch and khan. He has brought new tools to every fight but is lacking that big victory.

Victory over alexander won't do it, but the winner of khan - bradley will be a lock for the top ten.

I honestly don't understand why ward is in any top ten list. He only has one decent victory. It was very dominant but he then struggled with bika, and failed to get green out of there when powder puncher johnson did it with one shot.

If he somehow beats both abraham and froch then it is well deserved, but until then he has no business being ranked above froch imo.

If you keep going down this road, I will keep exposing your lack of knowledge of the fights and fighters you are referring to. :smoke

What sort of fighter was Briggs? What were his strengths and weaknesses?

How did you score the Dawson-Johnson rematch? What were Dawson's best rounds? Explain how you thought that fight went, and what you thought of Dawson's performance.

And tell me who else defeated Johnson as conclusively as Dawson did, other than a prime ATG in Bernard Hopkins.

Man up, and discuss the fighters and fights YOU keep mentioning in detail.

    Troll exposed yet again. :happy

i want you to point to everyone where i have trolled in this thread (thats you)?

i want you to point to everyone where i have used emoticons in this thread (thats you)?

colour of skin has never once been an issue in who i want to win a boxing match and in all honesty that is a sickenning accusation to make. you are obvioulsy just trying to draw me into a gutter level slanging match to avoid answering my questions and having a real boxing debate.

Far was most definitely the wrong word, spud.

Khan is not far behind at all.

i am asking your opinions to gain an insight into why you had dawson as p4p number 3 and ward p4p number 6 and yet again you have not answered me, why is that?

you have responded by trolling, using emoticons, and by trying to move the goalposts again.

i will answer your questions (like i always do) in my next post, in return i expect you to have done the same.

Dawson should be nowhere near anyones top ten.

Pascal should be about ten imo. He schooled dawson and fought competitively with hopkins. I got no qualms about people dropping him cos of his stamina issues.

I'd say top ten locks so far are, in no particular order.

Floyd, martinez, jmm, pacman, hopkins, montiel, segura, wlad.

I'd say the bottom two places leave room for debate, but should contain the likes of pascal, lopez, haye, adamek, vitali, donaire, bradley, khan, froch, ward.

Dawson, williams, mosley and caballero should be nowhere near the top ten after their recent performances. anymore.
