Can someone explain to me why Timothy Bradley is in the p4p top 10??!

I'll say this, Montiel's win over Hasegawa is as good as any win on JuanMa's or Bradley's record. Though after the Hasegawa win, there isn't much to speak of. JuanMa's best win is probably Marquez, but he also has quality wins over Concepcion, Luevano, and Ponce De Leon, three wins that I feel are more significant than any Montiel victory in the past 4 years excluding Hasegawa. I won't even argue about Bradley since as I've stated before, I don't believe he belongs in the top ten either.

I'll also add this as well. Even if JuanMa did struggle with Mtagwa, he still won on points clearly and hasn't had to rely on a fortuitous decision or favorable officiating to get by. While Montiel on the other hand was fortunate to have escaped without Ls on his record against Z Gorres and Alejandro Valdez both.

 

He had Dawson at 3? That must mean he either thought his record was better than Marquez's or he was more skilled.

Ouch.

 

****, I forget Bradley beat Miguel Vazquez. I firmly believe Vazquez will go on to greater things at lightweight, he's certainly made a good start. Top win for Timbo IMO.

 

IMO His win over Martin Castillo is better than Lopez wins over Concepcion, and Luevano, who was just a paper champion, and who is Concepcion? And he looked better at beating Cstillo than Lopez did against the other 2. The De Leon win is good, no argument there. Z Gorres was a pretty good fighter actually, as for the Valdez fight, i would actually like to see Montiel avenge that, which im sure he would beat him and quite easily. As for the Mtgwa fight, Juanma did win it, but theres no denying how much he struggled against someone who he had no buisness struggling with.


The Hasegawa win is still better than any of Lopez wins IMO, but I guess i wont agrue with Lopez being in the top 10 (in the lower top 10) but as of now, he aint above Montiel.

you mentioned 'white fighters' not american fighters in your initial post. the colour of a fighters skin has never once in my life played a part in who i want to win a boxing match, and never will do.

now i will be answering the questions you asked in my next post (like i always do) and i expect you to do the same in your next post instead of ducking them for a 6th time by changing the goalposts with false accusations.

I'll wrap this up by adding if Montiel ends up beating Donaire in Februrary, then in my opinion, his spot in the top ten will be legitimatized. :good

1) i've not seen paul briggs fight adamek, thats why i asked you a question on him which hopefully you will have now answered. the only time i have seen paul briggs fight was against danny green (the less said about that fight the better).

2) i've seen the dawson v johnson rematch once and i had dawson the winner by around 4 pts. i obviously don't keep scorecards (as i mentioned before) but dawson won that fight definitely.

3) well 2 judges scored the fight 115-113 to dawson, so that means that cloud, tarver, harmon, branco, vanderpool, ottke, sosa, and hopkins have all beat dawson more covincingly.
