...to beat Pacquiao??? I was thinking Mosley would be wise to invest heavily in body work early. Slow Pacquiao down in the second half of the fight and make him trade. Mosley's a pretty good right hand puncher and Pacquiao's defense against the right hand isn't exactly stellar...
Pac is going to track Mosley down and give him a bad beating. May be like Duran vs Palomino....where the old champ survives the fight and retires.
His only real chance is to catch Pacquiao while trading shots. A body attack would be advisable, but we can't know if Mosley could keep it up for 12 rounds. He should go all out on the attack early.
His strategy will be the same as when he fought Floyd. Look for one big punch early. If it fails, the he will try to survive the rest of the night and walk away with his 10 million or whatever his takeaway pay is.
1. Insult Pacquaio in the build up, calling him a ***** who's in a new world fighting blk fighters and saying he's going his wife wants to **** him after catching Manny cheating, basically to draw him into a brawl (won't happen Shanes a classy guy) 2. Work on punching straighter (won't happen Shane isn't learning that now) 3. Work on right counters and explosive right leads, which are both Manny Kryptonite (more chance of happening but Shane isn't too slick) 4. Punch in bunches so he lands something serious (could happen) 5. Look to break the body (could happen) All in all Shane stands a small chance if he draw Manny into a brawl, because he hits harder, Mannys open to the right and Shane has a great right which few of his recent opens have had, he has a better chin, hes stronger, hes nearly as fast
