"mayorga has shown that most of what he does and says is outside of the ring and inside the ring he is left beaten by his oppponents. i guarantee that this will be the same occasion.

if he wins he is slated to fight margarito in june for a rematch, he says though nothing is set in stone he wants to fight all the big fights and biggest names because that is what boxers should be doing

 

I hope he's right. He's got a good shot. Somewhat dangerous fight, but should be good prep for Margarito.

Cotto's weak defense was the reason for that, also he won't have the engines to outbox or chase Pac for the whole fight, so it doesn't matter which gameplan he brings he'll lose, because Pacquiao is better. In this case, his opponent comes forward, is a very easy target and as soon as feels Cotto's punches he'll put the face on looking for more and he'll get more. Mayorga also fought a very poor fight btw, that's why I see this one to easy to predict.
