How is he trying to accommodate Pac when he keeps moving the dates closer and closer to the fight? That just doesn't make sense.

Again, Shane has no choice if he ever wants a crack at Floyd. He was known to use PEDS. Pac was accused. There is a huge difference and don't start with Mosley was never caught. It's politics. Same way Oscar was never caught because of the same issue.

Again, Pac doesn't have to oblige to Floyd's OSDT but his team negotiated. Even Floyd's team agreed and the reason why the fight was almost close to getting done but it was Floyd's hesitation that prevented the fight from happening.

You are not following. He started with OSDT, then revised the demand to a week out, then 14 days. Are these cutoffs moving closer to the fight or farther from it? Shouldn't be hard to understand that.

Shane has no choice if he ever wants a crack at Floyd.

Well evidently, Shane TRULY wanted a crack at Floyd. It seems Pac wanted to fight Clottey, and file frivolous lawsuits, instead.

Pac doesn't have to oblige to Floyd's OSDT but his team negotiated.

Apparently, he does have to oblige it, if he wants a fight with Floyd.

Floyd's team agreed and the reason why the fight was almost close to getting done but it was Floyd's hesitation that prevented the fight from happening.

Floyd's team agreed? Does that equate to Floyd himself agreeing?

^ What does any of this matter when Floyd said himself that he doesn't want to fight? He says he wants 1 - 2 years off. He confirmed that again when he made his little Ustream video or whatever. He said "I may not ever fight again." This is Floyd Mayweather saying this.

And Pac said he'll agree to the tests, so if Floyd really wants the fight all he has to do is call his bluff. It's that simple.

It matters, in the context of my debate with the other poster.

If Floyd wants time off. So be it. He did his job and made his money. I'm not losing any sleep over that. He, apparently, has other issues to overcome, atm. Pac is not going anywhere, any time soon. This fight will be here, when/if he wants it.

If Pac says he will agree. Good for him. He also is quoted (by Amir) as saying, recently..."he is not ready for that". I wonder which it will be, when/if he ever gets another opportunity to make this fight. :think

I guess in both cases, we will just have to wait and see.

You forgot that Floyd and Shane got tested 18 days before the fight. Pac agreed to 14 days or even less than that.

Let;s continue hoping for Floyd to find his urge to fight again. At this point, he is putting up excuses to avoid fighting Pac.

Floyd revised his demand to accommodate Pac? Your blindness is astounding. :patsch

It is actually Pacquiao who is accommodating Floyd but Floyd kept on moving the goal post. Any unbiased observer can see that BS for what it is.

I haven't forgotten anything. It does not matter when the cutoff date was for their fight. The point is...THEY did not arbitrarily set it, as Pac is trying to do.

Well, not exactly an original thread but I think that Floyd could have made this fight if he really wanted it. I think he would beat Pac but if I were a Mayweather fan, I'd feel a bit let down if he did not take this fight. He seems to have gone off the rails recently and I think he needs boxing - perhaps more than boxing needs him.

That, obviously, flew right over your head.

Floyd revised his demand (to a point) to accommodate Pac's discomfort and uncertainty about having his blood drawn close to the fight. I'm not certain why that is difficult to comprehend. :huh

And yes...Pac accommodated Floyd by entertaining the demand, in the first place...just as Floyd accommodated Pac, by entertaining (and accepting) his demands.

But, Pacquiao failed to accept the deal on the table. He balked at the final offer, went about his business, then came back asking for a similar deal, after he was informed that deal was no longer on the table. "Any unbiased observer can see that BS for what it is."

What has changed from 24 days to 7 days? The Mosley fight? BS. You can composed 10,000 words to justify Floyd changing the terms. I can say it's bull****. We can agree to disagree. But present the situation to a person looking outside in the circumstances takes less weight than the fact that one person is accommodating and the other one makes it harder each step. If you submit the impasse to a third party mediation the mediator will tell you "You originally asked for 24 days, and now you got 7 days (or 0 days). Surely that is more than enough concession". In fact this is what might had happened with Greenburg. They deny the negotiation or else they would've look worse.
