    :deal

I've been saying it for a while now. It's just like when you were talking about Ward fighting at Middleweight on the show the other week.

Poor punch resistance, chinny, call it what you like. What you are saying though is the same thing - if you take a shot and go down it's got to be due to having a dodgy chin. I don't buy that as a general rule and never will. Boxers will almost always face guys who can put them down and not finish the job. The boxer going down should not be labelled chinny just because he gets put in his arse. Calzaghe got put down like 4 or 5 times right? He didn't get the chinny label and neither should bellew. It is more down to defensive adjustments being needed

problem is the jump in weight is not 7lbs its 25lbs.

He will be fighting guys that are bigger than him, taller, thicket set and bigger punchers. How will Bellew deal with that because his style so far has been to use his size as a major advantage and bully his opponents.

Bunce, as a side note, do you recall someone at the lg in September asking if he could punch you, just before I got my picture with you? If so appologies, he was slightly pissed and is generally a bit of a wanker! Still wants to punch you though.

Big spunk, you are still calling it chinny but dressing it up as something else.

You are such a naughty petulant child rob. I always have a
handkerchief at the ready though jizz lips

McKenzie is a big puncher. Bellew has been down 3 times in his last two fights, one he was caught square on, another was behind the head and the 3rd a big straight right. He's gotten up and never looked 'gone', so I don't think it's right to assume he is chinny.

I also seen you mention that you don't think he's a big puncher?

I don't think he is as big a puncher as some on here including Tony himself claim. He is heavy handed but he is not in the Mike Tyson, Hammed, David Haye, Edwin Valero league.

The improvement I saw in the mckensie fight was mainly in his attack. There was nowhere near as much over-reliance on the right hand, as his knockdown shows. I agree his defence has to improve but i think he has a decent platform to do this, when he does slip a punch it looks natural. But I reckon he will always fight the way he does now, taking a punch to give a harder one back which may work well for him if he does try to tighten up when he comes forward

yeh but I never said he is chinny or has poor punch resistance. I dont think that but its fair enough if others do because he has gone down several times.

well TB has been down a few times now,so one could call him chinny, think the moment he faces a ranked fighter he will get put to sleep, mans got no defence aswel.

To contrasting posts rob. First of all you think it's fair to assume he is chinny, then you go on to say maybe he's not one of them chinny types. Make your mind up!

Well, it's not exactly fair to compare him to some of the biggest punchers of his generation
