    On Fred 'The Preacher" Lewis,

    Yes, the same guy that fought John Conteh.
    Fred really wasn't a big heavyweight, he fought more in the 180 lb. range.
    Would have been a Top Contender for Cruiserweight.

    On Liston's age. Foneda Cox, Sonny's friend was born in 1929.
    I have an intervew with Foneda saying;
    'Sonny was a little older than me, but I was older in street smarts'.

    I'm surprised I'd never heard of Rischer before reading George Kimballs 'Manly Art' seems he was rated quite highly in the Top 10 before losing to London and Spencer, appearshe lost to most of the 'name' fighters he faced bar Cooper.

    Anyone know how he died?, says that he was only 37 when he died in 1970 on Boxrec
