Can't help it man, I've been wanting to see this bout for years...it takes these four great warriors full circle, all having tested themselves against each other at one point or another. I'm hoping for Morales to show one last stand, and hopefully some great action.

And at this point, this is my most anticipated bout for 2011...although there are some great bouts that could be made in the meantime, I guess we'll see.

Because he beat morales twice, beat barrera in a shutout, larios and solis. By the time pac and marquez fought it was 2008. Pac beat morales in 2006 and barrera in 2007. Same year marquez beat barrera which made marquez # 2 @ 130.

Which made them #1 and # 2 rank @ 130 and fought for the lineal title which was vacant at the time.

I think you are counting it after the JMM-Pac II fight.
Before they fought JMM had a fight at 130 with MAB who was the lineal champ. So therefore MAB was champ and JMM took it from him then yes it was on the line against Pac in the second fight.

$49.95 for this? Pass. You just know it's going to be a PPV. It'll garner some buys but not from me. Should be a one sided fight. Morales couldn't get it done against Diaz. That was really his last chance at getting a belt at 135.

Yea sadly it will be PPV. And it probably will sell just with Morales name on it.

I will probably get together with my fam for it.

It seems Golden Boy now follows the Top Rank script putting in-house fights together. Shame on them. On the other hand JMM was denied the Morales fight many years ago and deserves to fill in that empty spot, likely with a victory.

Just to make it clear JMM wanted Pacquiao, but as Pac took a page out of Floyd's book on how to cherry pick, this could be a solid payday before the next big fight for the skilled Mexican. I don't like it but given the fantastic WAR Marquez just gave us I can give him a free pass.

Its a good money fight for both of them same deal that Pac took against Mosley all about the dollars. Mexican vs Mexican always sell tickets infact this fight may do more than Pac vs Mosley or get close.
I'll pay to see this but I'm not buying PAC facing an old man who's sticking around until someone puts him in his grave.

This fight should have been fought years before, when barrera-morales-marquez-pacquiao were at war with each other.
