Great Call their Ardy got it spot on. Carlos I turned down opportunity to go to the Grand Slam in Cardiff that day only cause I bought a pair of ringside tickets for Dunne-Cordoba and it was incredible. My 2 favourite sporting moments in my life time so far have to be Dunne V Cordoba and Bonner against Romania in 1990. That said I'm looking forward to the rest of it. Nor pressure on our current generation to bring us many more happy memories then
The next decade going to get even better. This decade gave us a new revivial in Irish boxing and the next decade is going to solidify it. Our standing in both the pros and amateurs has improved immensely With all the good pro prospects we have have at the moment the next decade is going to bring us a lot more euro champs and world champs. The amateur talent coming through at the moment will ensure our pro success continues. I think a great time for Irish boxing is ahead:good
Jaysus I hope its better than the edition of The Irish Sun that my mate had with him today. 'Nadine Coyle has ladder in tights - EXPOSED!' 'Irish woman speaks to Rihanna' **** me thats some 40 pages of muck. p.s. Full page on Cricket - for all those Irish cricket fans! sheesh!
any confirmed dates for the new year.... no shows have been announced outside of casey-rigo... i think:bbb

Happy new year lads, and a belated Merry Christmas. Can't wait to see what 2011 unfolds for Irish boxing. World title shots for Casey and Magee, McCloskey and Macklin still European champions and hopefully pushing closer to World title shots, and Andy Lee getting involved with a higher class of opposition(which of course very nearly was agreed) wouldn't go amiss. I'm very excited to see how our prospects will progress in the new year, Frampton, Kavanagh, Byrne, Ormond, Conlon etc. It will be nice to see how O'Kane and Keeler handle the transition into the pro rankings. Not to forget our talented bunch of amateurs(who continue to deliver time after time) and our ever growing domestic scene which is starting to provide some great match ups. Irish boxing is in a great position at the moment and it all points towards an even more positive future. Hopefully the next 12 months live up to expectation.
Just after watching the film 'THE FIGHTER' Mark Wahlberg as Irish Mickey Ward........ Id urge everyone to watch it, its great
