    Another legend in our sport passes...

    Bennie was a boxer that personified "old school" imo, sad to see him go...

    R.I.P but he was overrated. He lost to every notable fighter he faced and could be easily out-boxed and out-pointed. He was slow and didn't actually hit as hard as people make out.

    Much like LaMotta.

    You need to do your homework on LaMotta thats for sure. The first man to defeat Sugar Ray Robinson, is absolutely not over rated.

    And for the record, I don't think Bennie was either.

    Neither fighter was looked at like the best ever or anything, but they were solid, seriously dangerous fighters that could give almost anyone a hard time.
