To bulked up imo. He doesn't carry the power he should for his size and he's pretty average at best. He be in good fights but don't see him being much more then maybe a British champion at best.

I agree. Murray has looked very impressive whenever I saw him last year. He looks like a powerhouse too.

**** i didn't realise murray was ranked number 6 by the WBA! Hatton promotions really are developing a relationship with this sanctioning body.

    :good Mine too.

Calling a British/European Champion an "average fighter", Jesus wept.

Anyway, Murray's doing it all the right way so far, earning a proper fanbase too.

Yeah true but then we could say same for most decent fighters then. I'm not righting lad off am i? just giving my thoughts on where i think he can go.

Rees and Burns are exceptions to the rule but also very decent boxers and developed into the fighters they are. Rees was there at right time as well against M'Baye. Also Rees in his early days when first on scene was well thought off actually..

That's a big shot. I like it...as much as i'm not overly taken by Murray there's no doubting he'd have joy in this fight.

If he fought the Macklin that fought last month he would of won IMO. Joe made comment about Varon not sustaining attacks i think if he was facing Murray Joe would of pulled him out before fight.

I think that would be a barnburner of a fight...and i'd fancy a upset as well.

He seems heavily liked by pro boys on here...i have to see watch him a bit more indepth maybe i'm not giving him enough credit.

Yeah m8 that being on his last few fights, seems like that old snap has gone and forcing punches out now, also matts stamina looks in doubt and murray can keep on goin also he not had the wars like matt.
